Young Chess Talent Shines at State Championship
Shiv Nadar School Faridabad proudly celebrates the wonderful achievement of Alishka Rakheja of Grade 4, who secured the 2nd Position in the Under 9 Girls category at the 30th Haryana State Chess Championship held on 9 and 10 May in Bahadurgarh.
Alishka’s sharp strategic thinking, focus, and perseverance earned her a trophy along with a cash prize of ₹2,500. With this achievement, she has now secured a direct entry to represent Haryana at the National Under 9 Girls Chess Championship.

Double Gold for Atharv Bhardwaj at State Kickboxing Championship
Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad proudly congratulates Atharv Bhardwaj of Grade 10 for his commendable performance in martial arts at the 25th All Faridabad District Kickboxing Championship, held on 9–10 May 2026.
Atharv secured:

Young Wildlife Photographer Shreyovi Mehta Honoured as FFF Icon at CNBC-TV18 Future. Female. Forward – Season 4
Shiv Nadar School Faridabad proudly celebrates the remarkable achievements of Shreyovi Mehta, a Grade VII student, who continues to earn international recognition for her exceptional work in wildlife photography at a very young age.
Shreyovi has been widely acknowledged on prestigious global platforms, including the internationally acclaimed Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition hosted by the Natural History Museum. At just nine years old, she achieved Runner-Up in the “10 Years and Under” category for her photograph In the Spotlight, selected from tens of thousands of entries from across the world.
Over the years, she has continued to receive international appreciation for her ability to capture emotion, behaviour, and storytelling in the natural world through her lens. Her recognitions include Highly Commended entries at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition in both 2024 and 2025 for her photographs Height Advantage and Wetland Spat. She was further recognised as the Winner in the Under 20 Category at the Siena International Photo Awards.
Most recently, on 7 May 2026, Shreyovi was honoured as an FFF Icon at the Mumbai edition of CNBC-TV18 Future. Female. Forward – The Women’s Collective. Anchored in the theme “The Power of Equity. The Power of New India,” the platform celebrates inspiring women and young changemakers who are contributing meaningfully across sectors through leadership, innovation, and impact.
Shreyovi’s journey into wildlife photography began at the age of two, inspired by her father, a wildlife photographer. Spending time in forests and national parks helped her develop a deep connection with nature while nurturing qualities such as patience, observation, resilience, and discipline.
Her work reflects not only artistic excellence but equally a strong sense of environmental sensitivity and awareness. Through her photography, she brings attention to the beauty and fragility of wildlife, inspiring empathy and responsibility towards conservation.

Student Achievement at the Gurgaon District Badminton Championship
Arjun Kumar of Class 7 brought laurels to the school by winning two silver medals at the prestigious 31st Gurgaon District Badminton Championship. Competing against 256 athletes in the tournament, Arjun displayed remarkable skill, determination, and sportsmanship to secure the runner-up position. His outstanding achievement is a proud moment for the school and an inspiration for all aspiring young athletes.
Serving Success: Silver Medal Victory in District Badminton
We are incredibly proud of our young shuttlers, Chaira Melwani and Amaira Menon, for their outstanding performance at the South West, South, and South East Delhi District Badminton Championship 2026, organized by the Delhi Capital Badminton Association.
The dynamic duo displayed fantastic skill and teamwork to secure the 2nd position, proudly bringing home the Silver Medal. While they faced a tough, competitive match in the finals, Chaira and Amaira demonstrated tremendous resilience, invaluable sportsmanship, and an inspiring zeal to learn and grow from the experience. We congratulate them on this fantastic achievement and look forward to cheering them on in their upcoming tournaments!
Samar Raj Sharma Represents Shiv Nadar School at Regen Conference 2026
In a powerful display of youth-led advocacy and global citizenship, seven students from Shiv Nadar School Faridabad participated in the Regen Conference 2026, accompanied by educators Ms. Manjima Chatterjee and Ms. Shalini Chablani.
Hosted at the Green School, the conference brought together nearly 500 students from across the world to engage in meaningful dialogue and collaborative learning around sustainability, regenerative practices, and environmental leadership.
The experience offered students a firsthand understanding of sustainable living. The campus itself reflected regenerative principles through its eco-conscious design, featuring structures built from bamboo and hay, the absence of air conditioning systems, and the use of compost toilets. These immersive experiences demonstrated how sustainability can be meaningfully integrated into everyday life at scale.
Students actively participated in “Climate Cafés,” reflective and collaborative spaces where young changemakers exchanged perspectives on environmental ethics, responsible ownership, and the role of youth in shaping a sustainable future.
A proud highlight of the conference was the selection of Samar Raj Sharma from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (Batch of 2027) as a Lightning Speaker. Samar delivered a compelling address that thoughtfully connected academic learning with the urgency of climate action, demonstrating confidence, clarity of thought, and the spirit of an impactful global learner.
Throughout the conference, students explored concepts such as the “Four S” framework — Sensing, Seeking, Shaping, and Storytelling — while engaging with innovative sustainability practices including biomimicry and regenerative design thinking.
The experience inspired students to return with renewed purpose, deeper environmental awareness, and a strengthened commitment to contributing meaningfully towards a more sustainable and responsible future.
Samrat Aneja Awarded Prestigious Fully Funded Scholarship to Germany
Shiv Nadar School Faridabad is proud to share that Samrat Aneja from the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) has been awarded a prestigious fully funded scholarship for a two-week immersive programme in Germany this June.
This remarkable achievement comes in recognition of his outstanding performance in the 2025 Goethe B1 (Jugendliche) examination. Samrat’s dedication to learning the German language and his consistent pursuit of excellence have earned him the opportunity to study at the renowned Goethe-Institut in Göttingen.
As part of the programme, Samrat will participate in advanced language learning sessions and immersive cultural experiences designed to deepen linguistic proficiency and intercultural understanding. The scholarship includes tuition, travel, accommodation, and curated educational excursions, offering students a meaningful exposure to German culture and academic engagement.
