This accomplishment reflects Shaunak’s unwavering dedication, intellectual curiosity, and academic discipline. The Lumiere selection process is known for its rigour and requires candidates to successfully navigate a detailed application process, a comprehensive Statement of Purpose, and an intensive interview round. Shaunak excelled at every stage, impressing the selection committee with his clarity of thought, academic potential, and passion for research.
As part of this highly regarded programme, Shaunak will engage in a 13 week one-on-one mentored research experience with a research scholar in his chosen field. The programme is designed to expose students to university-level research methodologies, analytical thinking, and scholarly inquiry, enabling them to explore complex ideas beyond the classroom curriculum.
Through this experience, Shaunak will have the opportunity to deepen his research capabilities, strengthen problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and develop a nuanced understanding of academic investigation and interdisciplinary learning. This remarkable accomplishment reflects Aarrush’s dedication, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to academic excellence. The selection process for the Lumiere Program is extremely competitive and involves multiple rigorous stages, including a detailed application, an extensive Statement of Purpose, and a challenging interview round. Aarrush successfully cleared all levels of evaluation, demonstrating clarity of thought, passion for research, and strong academic potential.
As part of the programme, Aarrush worked one-on-one with a research scholar from the University of Alberta on a 13-week mentored research project in his chosen field. This opportunity enabled him to engage in university-level research, strengthen his analytical and critical thinking skills, and gain valuable exposure to advanced academic inquiry.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) continues to nurture globally minded learners, and this was reflected in the outstanding performance of our students at the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC).
The World Scholar’s Cup is an internationally recognized academic competition that celebrates curiosity, critical thinking, and collaborative learning. It brings together students from across the world to engage in a range of intellectually stimulating events, including debates, collaborative writing, quizzes, and team challenges across diverse subjects such as literature, history, science, arts, and global issues.
Twelve of our MYP students participated in the Mohali Regional Round held on 1 and 2 May 2026, where they demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, teamwork, and academic rigour. The competition provided them with a platform to think beyond the classroom, engage in interdisciplinary learning, and develop key skills such as communication, analysis, and creative problem-solving.

Prisca's brilliance extends far beyond the golf course. Following her successful participation in the Harvard College Science and Maths Olympiad through the school, she was invited to the rigorous selection process for the Harvard Global Young Leaders Camp, to be held at Harvard University.
After successfully clearing comprehensive evaluations and interviews, Prisca received her official Selection Letter for the camp commencing this June. Making this achievement even more remarkable, Prisca is one of the youngest students ever to be selected for this prestigious program, which is typically reserved for students in Grade 8 and above.

Shiv Nadar School Faridabad proudly congratulates Aruj Sahai student of Grade 4 for his remarkable achievements in chess tournaments held recently at both interschool and state levels.
Aruj delivered an outstanding performance at the DPSG Cup U9 Interschool Chess Tournament, where he secured the 1st Position and emerged as the champion. Representing the school, he won all 5 out of 5 rounds, demonstrating exceptional focus, strategy, and consistency throughout the tournament.
Adding to this achievement, Aruj participated in the 30th Haryana State Chess Championship in the Under 9 category, held in Jhajjar district on 9th and 10th May 2026. Competing against nearly 90 players from across Haryana, Aruj secured an impressive 4th Position in the state with a score of 5.5/7. He was awarded a cash prize of ₹1,500 for his performance.
Entering the tournament as one of the top rated players and favourites in the category, Aruj continued to display remarkable composure and determination through a highly competitive field. His achievements reflect dedication, discipline, and a strong competitive spirit at a very young age.

Ruhaan Taneja student of Grade 4 – Corbett, Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, secured the 3rd position in the Under-9 Boys Category at the DPSG Chess Tournament held on 27 April. Competing among 30 participants, he achieved an impressive score of 4 out of 5 points and was awarded a trophy for his performance.
Ruhaan has been playing chess since the age of 6 and has participated in several District, State, and National level competitions. His continued commitment to the sport reflects steady growth and a deepening engagement with competitive chess.
Anairrah Kalra from IB MYP 2 at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, proudly represented India at the 6th Acropolis International Wushu Championship 2026.
Competing on an international platform against athletes from 24 countries, she delivered an outstanding performance at the championship held at Sunel Arena Stadium, Athens (Greece) from 12 to 16 March 2026.
In the U-15 Girls Nanquan (Traditional Event) category, Anairrah competed against 9 international participants and secured the Bronze Medal, marking a proud moment for India.
She further competed in the Double Weapon Routine category, which featured 12 strong participants. With remarkable determination, confidence, and skill, Anairrah delivered an exceptional performance and secured the Gold Medal, outperforming competitors including a Greek athlete.
A strong reflection of discipline, resilience, and excellence on the global stage.
Demira Gera of Grade 5 at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, secured 2nd position (Silver Medal) at the All India Level Wise Gymnastics Competition (Level 2), held on 3 April 2026 in Dwarka, Delhi.

Kiara Gera of Grade 5 at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, delivered an impressive performance across multiple district and state level martial arts championships this year.
At the 25th Faridabad District Kickboxing Championship held at Mahabir Community Block, Faridabad, on 10 and 11 April 2026, she secured a Gold Medal in the Kick Light event and a Silver Medal in the Point Fight event. With this achievement, she qualified for the State Kickboxing Championship.
Continuing her excellent performance, Kiara participated in the 11th District Wushu Championship held at Dronacharya Public School on 3 May 2026, where she secured a Gold Medal in her fight category and qualified for the State Wushu Championship.
Further adding to her accomplishments, Kiara participated in the 25th Haryana State Kickboxing Championship held at YMCA, Faridabad, on 9–10 May 2026, where she secured:
• Gold Medal in the Point Fight event
• Gold Medal in the Team Point Fight event
• Bronze Medal in the Kick Light event
With this achievement, she has now qualified for the National Championship scheduled to be held in Indore in June 2026.
