In alignment with Shiv Nadar School’s philosophy of building meaningful partnerships and our core value of ‘Sense of Purpose and Responsibility’, we created a nurturing space for parents to come together for The Dailogue –A space where dialogue becomes connection, and connection becomes growth.
This session opened up important reflections on a topic deeply relevant to every family — care for caregivers and understanding the emerging role of AI in healthcare. What unfolded was a beautiful reminder of the strength of our community, learning from one another, and finding support in collective wisdom. These moments not only deepen school–parent partnership but also strengthen the culture of empathy, wellbeing, and inclusion that defines our school.
Grateful to all the parents who joined us and enriched the evening with their insights and presence

The Sound Healing Session was organised by the Parent Partnership Office, on campus, a part of the monthly parental engagements. The session was led by Ms Pooja Kapur, an SNS parent. It was a deeply rejuvenating experience for all who attended, offering a serene space for participants to pause, breathe, and reconnect with their inner calm.
Ms Kapur guided the group through a series of soothing sound vibrations using traditional healing instruments. The participants shared that the immersive experience allowed them to feel lighter, more centered, and deeply relaxed.
The peaceful atmosphere was the perfect setting for self-reflection, mindfulness and self-renewal. Many attendees expressed gratitude for the opportunity to engage in a practice that nurtured both mental and emotional well-being.
As part of the Children’s Day Week celebrations, a special Origami Session was organised for the students of the Primary Wing. The session was facilitated by Mr Yogesh Rai from Jaipur, an artist who has been practising this intricate art form for many years. He demonstrated how to create a variety of beautiful objects such as trees, garlands, flowers, and rangoli designs using paper folding and cutting techniques.
To ensure that every child could participate meaningfully, the activity was conducted in three separate sessions for Grades 3, 4, & 5. After watching the demonstration, students enthusiastically tried their hands at making their own paper creations.
Each student received a booklet containing additional origami designs along with coloured sheets, encouraging them to continue exploring and creating more paper art at home.
Five students from Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad spent a heartwarming and lively morning at the inclusive inter-school event “Play Date – Friends Across Schools” hosted by Ramagya School, Noida.
The day unfolded with laughter, ease, and genuine connection. Our learners moved freely across thoughtfully designed activity zones, each offering a chance to explore, create, and collaborate.
The host school created an environment that felt safe, warm, and truly inclusive. A special mention goes to the senior students of Ramagya School, whose gentle and patient interactions added so much to the experience. Their support helped our children participate with comfort and confidence.
It was a beautiful reminder of what inclusive spaces can offer—shared moments of joy, meaningful connections, and the freedom for every child to be themselves.
The storytelling session aimed to inspire environmental awareness through music, rhythm, and engaging narration. Using song, humour, and interactive storytelling, students were encouraged to reflect on the impact of pollution and the importance of mindful choices. The session fostered joy, connection, and responsibility, reminding learners that small actions can help protect our planet. With his engaging blend of music and narrative, Mr Kapil brought warmth, rhythm, and life to the story, instantly drawing the students into his world of imagination and reflection.
The session began with a lively guitar rendition of “We’ve Got the Whole World in Our Hands,” which set a cheerful and participative tone. Through rhythm, song, and expressive storytelling, he highlighted the growing problem of pollution and how human actions affect our environment. The message, delivered in a fun and meaningful way, urged everyone to consume less, conserve more, trash less, and waste no more.
As the President of the Kutumb Foundation, Mr Kapil believes in the power of drama and storytelling to create reflective learning spaces. His interactive performance, laced with humour, song, and thoughtful insights, encouraged students to think about small but
impactful ways to care for the planet.
The session had students smiling, singing along, and feeling inspired. A wonderful reminder that stories and music can connect, uplift, and awaken responsibility in each of us.
The conversation circled around one idea: machines can give answers, but they cannot care, read a room, or act with values when things get uncertain. Our kids can! And that is what schools should double down on. Mr Matthew pushed this further with three sharp points:
Mr Arora is of the thought that authenticity will not come from blocking AI. It will come from tasks where thinking is visible, such as iterations, reflections, oral defences, and live reasoning. When students see their work as a mirror, integrity follows by choice, not policing. So the wonderment here is "If AI can do so much, what's the one assessment practice we must retire to keep learning human and meaningful?"

In an inspiring blend of creativity, collaboration, and environmental awareness, our MY1 learners stepped into the Makerspace to design and build their own educational board games. Their mission: to deepen understanding of SDG 14: Life Below Water and SDG 15: Life on Land.
Through hands-on creation, students explored real-world environmental challenges—pollution, biodiversity loss, conservation efforts—and transformed these ideas into interactive, imaginative games. Every element, from rules to artwork to gameplay strategy, was crafted to spark conversation and encourage players to think critically about protecting our ecosystems.
What emerged were not just board games, but thoughtful learning tools that reflect how creativity can amplify awareness and make complex global issues accessible.
By designing with purpose, our learners demonstrated that play can be powerful—and that young minds can lead the way in advocating for a sustainable future.
Children’s Day at our school was nothing short of spectacular, filled with the perfect blend of creativity, collaboration, and pure childhood joy. This year, our teachers and parent community came together to create an unforgettable experience for our learners — and in the process, became children themselves for a day!
The celebrations began with our teachers putting together a delightful dance performance and skit especially for the students. Bursting with humour, energy, and heart, the performance set the tone for a day dedicated entirely to celebrating childhood.
Our incredible parent community transformed the school into a vibrant Children’s Day Fete, complete with game stalls, workshops, and hands-on experiences. The campus buzzed with excitement as students explored a curated mix of classic and innovative activities. Students excitedly moved from one activity to another, playing classic games such as Tambola, Shoot the Target, Ring Toss, and even the traditional Spin the Top. They also immersed themselves in high-energy experiences like obstacle courses, buzz wire challenges, and the ever-popular mystery box. Creative corners drew enthusiastic crowds with jewellery making, bookmark making and dance sessions that kept spirits high throughout the day.
Adding to the excitement was the signature workshop and a thrilling Math and Chemistry–themed Murder Mystery experience, where students used logic, clues, and teamwork to solve cleverly designed puzzles!
The day also included meaningful hands-on workshops. One especially impactful session was the Composting Workshop, where parent experts guided students through the basics of composting and worked with them to plant saplings to mark the occasion. This thoughtful activity blended environmental awareness with joyful learning, giving students a memorable way to contribute to the planet.
What made this Children’s Day truly special was the spirit that filled every corner of the campus. Teachers cheered, parents hosted and played with unfiltered enthusiasm, and students soaked in every moment of the celebration. Laughter, excitement, and wonder brought the community together in a way that felt both heartfelt and magical.
As the day drew to a close, one thing was clear: when parents, teachers, and students come together with a shared intention to celebrate childhood, the result is unforgettable.
Here’s to cherishing the joy of childhood — today and always.
From October 27th to 30th, our Grade 6 students participated in a transformative Outbound Learning Experience (OLE) at Jim Corbett, designed to equip them with vital skills and perspectives for life. This immersive journey seamlessly integrated experiential learning, collaborative team-building, and a profound appreciation for wildlife and history.
The OLE commenced with team-building games, fostering essential peer engagement and a relaxed environment crucial for collaborative learning. An educational presentation on Mr. Jim Corbett's legacy immediately instilled awareness about tiger conservation and the critical importance of wildlife protection, setting a contextual foundation for responsible environmental stewardship.
Day two began with an exhilarating early morning safari, transforming students into active wildlife observers, keenly spotting animals and understanding jungle ecosystems firsthand. This was followed by a practical workshop on waste segregation led by 'The Waste Warriors', directly linking learning to real-world environmental responsibility.
