Shiv Nadar School Faridabad is proud to announce that Divija Babbar (Grade XI Sariska) and Falak Babbar (Grade VIII Gir) have brought laurels to the school by winning the prestigious Best Delegate Award at the FLYMUN organized by Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad, on 15th and 16th November 2024.

Representing France in the double delegation committee (G21), their exemplary speaking skills and in-depth research captivated the Chair, earning them accolades and recognition. Both students were awarded trophies and a cash prize of ₹4000 each for their outstanding performance.

Divija's enthusiastic participation, even amidst her first term exams, highlights the holistic education at Shiv Nadar School, which empowers students to excel academically and beyond. The Omaxe Olympics 2024, a grand sporting event with 470 participants across 26 sports disciplines and multiple age categories (ranging from 0-5 years to 80+ years), was held over a span of two weeks. The event showcased an impressive display of talent, determination, and sportsmanship.

Sartaaj Sachdeva, a Grade 4 student at Shiv Nadar School, delivered an extraordinary performance, securing medals in every category he participated in:

• Gold  in 100m Race (Track & Field)
• Gold  in Football Under-11
• Silver in 4x100m Relay Race
• Silver in Squash

National Round Victory at the Space Design Competition

We extend our congratulations to the Grade 9, 10, and 11 students for their outstanding performance in the National Round of the Space Design Competition. Their team will now move on to represent the school at the Asia Level. This achievement highlights the dedication, collaboration, and creativity of our students as they tackled complex aerospace engineering challenges. The International Space Settlement Design Competition (ISSDC) is a one-of-a-kind STEAM-based challenge that fosters the growth of future engineers, leaders, and professionals.

Ruhaan Taneja Shines in Chess and Football - A Rising Star in Grade 2

Chess Triumphs

Ruhaan participated in the 7th Maharathi Rapid Chess Tournament on Saturday, 7th December 2024, showcasing his exceptional strategic skills. Competing in the Under-7 category, he secured an impressive 4th position. His efforts were recognized with a medal and a cash prize of ₹1300.

Football Glory

On Sunday, 8th December 2024, Ruhaan, along with his team from Manav Rachna Sports Academy, played the final match of a 5-week football league. The team qualified for the Silver Cup after winning 6 out of 7 matches and emerged victorious in the finals. Ruhaan's stellar performance earned him:

• A medal for his team's victory.
• A trophy for "Best Striker", acknowledging his remarkable goal-scoring abilities and leadership on the field.

Shiv Nadar School Faridabad Celebrates Iha Joshi’s Remarkable Achievements in SGFI National Tennis Championship

The recently concluded 68th SGFI National Tennis Girls Under-17 Championship brought immense pride to Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, as Grade 8 Corbett student Iha Joshi represented Haryana State in this prestigious tournament. Hosted by Mayo College, Ajmer, from December 4 to 8, 2024, the championship witnessed the participation of 106 players from 22 States and Union Territories.

In the team event, Haryana State secured 4th Position, demonstrating exceptional skill and determination. The Haryana team triumphed over teams from Chandigarh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu before falling to Karnataka in the semi-finals in a nail-biting match.

Iha Joshi was one of the two key players who represented Haryana in all matches during the Nationals. Her contribution was pivotal in the team’s impressive performance.

At just 13 years old, Iha has already established herself as a rising star in tennis:

• Gold Medalist: Haryana State SGFI Tournament, Panchkula (2024)
• Gold Medalist: Haryana State SGFI Tournament (2023)
• Silver Medalist: Haryana State SGFI Tournament (2022)
• AITA Achievements: Winner of multiple tournaments in Under-14 and Under-16 categories

Iha was also one of the youngest participants in the Nationals, showcasing remarkable poise and skill against older, more experienced players. Her consistent performance at SGFI tournaments and AITA events underscores her dedication and potential.

Odissi Brilliance at CCRT’s Prestigious Cultural Event

Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of Saanvi (Grade XI Sariska) and Vidhi (Grade XI Gir) at the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT) under the Ministry of Culture on 24th October 2024.

Their mesmerizing Odissi dance performance captivated the audience, earning them well-deserved recognition. As a mark of appreciation, they will receive an honorarium of ₹5,000 from the Department of Culture.

Iha Joshi Clinches First Under-18 AITA Championship Series Title

Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, proudly celebrates Iha Joshi, a Grade 8 Corbett student, for her outstanding victory in the AITA Championship Series Girls' Singles (Under-18) Tournament held at DPS Gurugram from January 20 to 24, 2025. This triumph marks Iha’s first Under-18 title, adding another feather to her cap in her remarkable tennis journey. Competing against seasoned players, she displayed exceptional skill, determination, and resilience to claim the championship. Her success is a testament to her dedication and rigorous training. Team Limbsure Triumphs at Young Creator's League, Palaksha University

Team Limbsure from Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad stood 1st out of 50 teams from 15 states across India at the Young Creator’s League held at Palaksha University.

Out of a highly competitive pool, our students emerged as the champions in today’s grand finale, impressing the jury with their AI-powered prosthetic arm – Limbsure.
