GLOBAL CLIMATE ACTION PROJECT 2020

The theme of the Shiv Nadar School MUN Conference, 2020 was CLIMATE ACTION. Taking the theme forward the students of the Middle and Senior School of the Shiv Nadar Noida participated in the Climate Action Project, a global event which was attended by participants across 130 countries. The major objective of the Initiative was to influence young minds, catalyse global awareness and enhance critical thinking. The project was in collaboration with WWF, United Nations and NASA supported by the government of 15 countries.

During the six-week journey the students were exposed to various aspects of climate change and have a global perspective through interaction with teachers and experts from across countries. Our proud global change-makers came up with solutions to climate change after building foundational knowledge, considering bias and scientific evidence, establishing trusted sources and creating personal connections with the work of environmental justice. The opportunity to be a part of this global event offered students to learn to collaborate, understand empathy, think critically and most importantly take action.

The students took the pledge to make this world a better place!
