Our little learners of Grade Foundation had a joyful and enriching field trip experience, filled with excitement, exploration and fun!
The adventure began with a delightful bus ride to the Tuk Tuk Gilhari Farm, which brought smiles to everyone. The children enthusiastically participated in various activities such as tug of war, trampoline jumping, and sack race, encouraging teamwork and movement. They also took a nature walk through the vegetable garden, where they observed different vegetables growing.
The visit became even more special when the children got the opportunity to interact with farm animals. They enjoyed gently petting animals like rabbits and birds and excitedly fed animals including sheep, goats, cows, horses, donkeys, buffaloes and ducks. This hands-on experience helped them develop curiosity, empathy and care for living beings.
To make the day even more delightful, the children relished some tasty treats like fruity drinks and popcorn during the trip. It was truly a memorable day filled with learning, laughter, and wonderful experiences in nature.
On 7th March 2026, Shiv Nadar School welcomed its parents through the New Parent Orientation Program, an important initiative designed to introduce parents to the philosophy, vision, and larger purpose of the Shiv Nadar School community.
The orientation, led by the Parent Partnership Office, offered parents an opportunity to interact with the Senior Leadership Team and gain deeper insights into the values and beliefs that guide the learning journey at Shiv Nadar School.
During the session, parents were introduced to the school’s philosophy of holistic learning, its commitment to nurturing curious, compassionate, and confident learners, and the larger vision of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, which works toward creating transformative educational opportunities and lasting social impact. The orientation helped parents see the bigger picture of how the school’s efforts are part of a broader mission to shape responsible global citizens.
A key highlight of the program was the introduction to the Parent Partnership Program, which emphasizes the important role parents play as valued ambassadors and collaborative partners in the school community. Parents were encouraged to actively participate in various school initiatives, discussions, and learning engagements, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and mutual growth.
At Shiv Nadar School, we believe that education thrives through collaboration. Parents are not just observers but essential partners in the journey of learning and development. Through strong partnerships, the school continues to build meaningful initiatives that extend beyond the classroom and positively impact the larger community.
At Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, we believe that a strong school community is built not only through learning in classrooms but through shared experiences beyond them.
