Tables of Hope | Parent Led Initiative

Tables of Hope, an initiative under the Pause for a Cause platform, was led by our parents and a grade 12 student Adhya Budhiraja. The initiative was extended to children who come to our campus for their evening classes run by Goodworks Trust. Adaya works closely with an NGO committed to empowering economically disadvantaged children and has developed portable and foldable sustainably designed study tables called ‘Shiksha Buddy’ that serve as a dedicated and dignified learning space for children. 

During the pilot phase, 40 kits were distributed, each including a portable table and a carry bag made from repurposed bedsheets. As part of an activity, the children personalized their tables by painting their names and artwork, encouraging a sense of ownership and creativity. The tables were thoughtfully designed as educational tools, offering each child a dedicated and dignified space for learning.
