Storytelling Comes Alive at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad

At Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, storytelling is thoughtfully integrated into the Early Years pedagogy to nurture language development, imagination, listening skills, and emotional connection through experiential learning.

Foundation Year learners recently participated in an engaging Hindi story presentation of ‘शेर और चूहा’. The session was designed as an interactive storytelling experience where teachers brought the story to life through expressive enactments, voice modulation, gestures, and the use of simple props and actions.

The lively presentation helped learners meaningfully connect with the characters and understand the sequence of events in an engaging and age appropriate manner. Through this immersive experience, children strengthened their listening and comprehension skills, expanded their Hindi language exposure, and developed imagination and expressive thinking.

The session reflected Shiv Nadar School Faridabad’s commitment to joyful, experiential, and language rich learning experiences that encourage curiosity, participation, and deeper learner engagement from the foundational years onward.
