The Spoken Word - 30th August 2019
The Spoken Word is a secure platform for the exhibition of our most impalpable, dynamic expressions. It gives budding poets a safe and friendly space to display their creativity and passion, and to express their joy, sorrow, desires, fears or any other hidden emotions. We had the 7th Edition of The Spoken Word on 30th August 2019.
The Student Editorial Board at Shiv Nadar School, Noida takes great pride in having built such a space, that is non-competitive and non-judgemental, and which allows the voice of the student body to be expressed without constraint. Since its inception, the Spoken Word has initiated a flourishing poetry culture within the school community, enjoyed by both teachers and students alike. The legacy of this event transcends students and their performances, it is kept alive in 'Allegories', a compilation of the poems performed in every Spoken Word event, a publication released by the Editorial Board. The next session will be on 30th November 2019.
