Col. Salhotra, an alumnus of the prestigious Defence Services Staff College, holds a Master’s degree in Defence and Strategic Studies and brings with him nearly four decades of distinguished service. Over the course of his career, he has served across the length and breadth of the country, contributing significantly across operational, administrative, and training domains. His diverse experience includes an international tenure with the United Nations in Somalia, where he was entrusted with training the Somali police.

Recognised for his integrity, diligence, foresight, and collaborative leadership, Col. Salhotra joined Shiv Nadar School, Noida in October 2021. He played a pivotal role in not only restoring but significantly enhancing several facilities and operational spaces at Shiv Nadar School, Noida.

Col. Salhotra has transitioned to Shiv Nadar School, Gurugram as Head – Administration & Operations, effective March 2026.

Beyond his professional commitments, he enjoys spending time with his family. His leisure interests include reading, golf, cycling, cooking, and music.
