Physics Conclave 2019
Physics Conclave 2019, in its second edition, brought yet another facet of scientific inquiry in the most engaging way to the students and teachers alike.
Dr. Mick Storr, Scientist at ATLAS, CERN along with Dr. Archana Sharma, Physicist at CERN brought experimental physics alive for everyone to experience some mind-boggling cosmic phenomena.
In the first session, Dr. Mick engaged the students from Shiv Nadar School and Shiv Nadar University in a discussion on the topic ‘Antimatter’. He also took up Cloud Chamber experiment with the students through which he tried to explain how scientists think and perform hands on experiment. In another session led by Dr. Archana, the students explored the technical aspects of Accelerator and Detector.
