Head – Middle Years
Meenu Ohlyan has been part of the Shiv Nadar School family since 2016 and brings with her a rich teaching journey from across the country. As Head of Middle Years, she leads one of the most crucial phases in a child’s educational journey—the transition from childhood to adolescence—ensuring that learners are guided with empathy, purpose, and integrity.
She holds a PhD and MA in English, along with a BA (Honours) in Mathematics from the University of Delhi, combining analytical thinking with literary depth in her approach to teaching and leadership. A former national volleyball player, she embodies the values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, which she actively instills in her students.
Meenu believes that education must go beyond textbooks and classrooms, embracing holistic development that builds reflective, ethical, and adaptable global citizens. Guided by Shiv Nadar School’s core values, she remains deeply committed to humanizing education in an AI-driven world, ensuring empathy stays at the heart of all learning.
Outside her professional role, she finds balance in travel, yoga, music, and time with friends.
