Manju Nair brings over 20 years of experience in international education, including more than 15 years of leadership within the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP). Born and raised in Kerala, India, Manju now calls Singapore home and proudly identifies as a Singaporean. Yet, her Indian roots continue to shape her values, worldview, and deep appreciation for the country's rich educational and cultural landscape. A passionate educator and lifelong learner, she is an alumna of the University of Kerala, Wheelock College (Boston), Boston University (USA), and the University of Bath (UK), reflecting her enduring commitment to professional growth and educational excellence.

A seasoned IB educator and leader, Manju has served as Head of PYP and PYP Coordinator at leading international schools across Singapore and China, successfully guiding institutions through IB authorization, evaluation, and accreditation processes. She also contributes to the global IB community as an IB Educator Network (IBEN) member, serving in multiple capacities including Evaluation Leader, Programme Leader, Workshop Leader, and Consultant.

Her educational philosophy is grounded in inquiry, collaboration, and continuous learning. She brings a deep understanding of early childhood education, drawing from Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired approaches while ensuring a strong and seamless progression into the rigour of the Primary Years Programme. Known for her ability to translate educational theory into meaningful classroom practice (having worked as a teacher trainer and lecturer in Singapore), Manju is passionate about building the leadership and pedagogical capacity of educators and creating learning environments where both students and teachers flourish.

Having lived and worked across India, Singapore, China, and Malaysia, Manju brings a global perspective while remaining deeply connected to her Indian heritage. She values the importance of nurturing curious, compassionate, and internationally minded learners and is excited to contribute to the continued growth of the Shiv Nadar School community.

Outside of her professional life, Manju enjoys reading on education, philosophy, psychology, and health, alongside literary fiction. She finds joy in long walks, yoga, and cooking, and loves attending theatre, dance, and film performances—interests that reflect her belief in lifelong learning, creativity, and the importance of staying connected to one's roots.
