IBDP Year 2 Students Excel in Theory of Knowledge Exhibition
The IBDP Year 2 students at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, began their academic year with an impressive Theory of Knowledge (TOK) exhibition. Starting in the last week of April, students selected three objects and linked them to one prompt out of 35, offering diverse perspectives. They then wrote formal commentaries using TOK language, ensuring authenticity with rigorous checks and continuous guidance from TOK teachers.
Each student's commentary required well-supported evidence, with citations and explanations justifying the inclusion of their chosen objects. The process emphasized critical thinking and the application of TOK concepts to real-life contexts. The culmination was an eloquent exhibition where students shared their findings, articulating personal connections to the objects and demonstrating their analytical skills.
The students’ ability to convey complex ideas clearly and their insightful analyses were noteworthy, reflecting their deep engagement with TOK. This exercise not only reinforced their understanding of TOK but also enhanced their research, writing, and presentation skills, marking a significant achievement in their academic journey at Shiv Nadar School's IB Diploma Programme.
