Children's Day Celebrations - Early Years

Children’s Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm across the Early Years. With laughter, learning, and creativity in every moment, the day was all about celebrating children and their happiness.

The celebration began with exciting activities and sports games, where students participated energetically, showcasing teamwork and coordination. Children also explored their artistic side through craft activities and process art, experimenting with colours, textures, and materials to create unique artworks inspired by their imagination.

Different age groups engaged in enriching learning experiences:

  • Nursery and Foundation students enjoyed an interactive storytelling session by Ms. Seema Wahi Mukherjee. With expressive narration and colourful props, she brought each story to life and kept students meaningfully engaged.

  • Kindergarten students listened to The Fairy and the Dragon, discovering a valuable message about perseverance. Nursery and Foundation students also delighted in the story of Fuffu the Frog and his heartfelt journey to find friendship.

  • Grade 1 and 2 students enjoyed a delightful puppet show thoughtfully presented by a Grade 1 student. This peer-led performance was a proud and inspiring moment for everyone, demonstrating confidence, creativity, and student agency. They also participated in Thirakta Thursday, where they joyfully grooved to lively music, expressing themselves freely while building rhythm and movement skills.

The day was filled with smiles, excitement, learning, and celebration. It beautifully highlighted the true essence of childhood — play, curiosity, creativity, and joys.
