Aruj Sahai Shines at the Faridabad District Chess Championship

Aruj Sahai, a Grade 3 Sariska student at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, who showcased his strategic brilliance and competitive spirit at the Faridabad District Chess Championship conducted by the All Faridabad Chess Association (AFCA).

Aruj participated in two categories and demonstrated exceptional performance amidst strong competition:

• Under-11 Category (5th April 2025): Competing in a higher age group, Aruj won 4 out of 6 games, securing a 5th position out of 37 participants and earned a well-deserved medal.
• Under-9 Category (6th April 2025): Aruj scored 4.5 out of 6 games, achieving an impressive 4th position among 47 participants and was awarded a medal.

The medals and trophies were presented by Cabinet Minister Mr. Vipul Goyal during the award ceremony.
