Anirudhan Sanjeevi: A Rising Star in Tenpin Bowling

At just 12 years old, Anirudhan Sanjeevi is making waves in the world of tenpin bowling, both in India and internationally. His dedication, skill, and perseverance have already earned him remarkable achievements, setting him apart as a young athlete to watch.

Anirudhan recently competed in the 4th State Ranking Tournament in Chennai, securing 9th place overall with an impressive average score of 189.53. This outstanding performance earned him the honor of representing Tamil Nadu at the 33rd National Tenpin Bowling Championship in Bengaluru in 2024—making him the youngest bowler ever to represent a state at the national level. Competing against over 120 participants from 17 states, he demonstrated resilience and talent, finishing 92nd overall with an average score of 155.

His journey in bowling took a global turn when he trained in two-handed bowling techniques in Singapore, refining his skills under expert guidance. This international exposure played a crucial role in his performance at the 42nd Malaysian International Open in April 2024—one of the most competitive editions in its history, featuring over 700 bowlers from 19 countries, including 20 former world champions. Competing in both the Boys' and Men's categories, he delivered commendable performances, with an average score of 153.75 in the Boys' Grade and 169.58 in the Men's Grade.
