Our Middle Years students brought la musique française to life at the French Singing Competition – Idole Indienne, competing in the 12–18 age category as the youngest participants in the group. With confidence and flair, they delivered impressive performances that stood out in a highly competitive field.

We’re especially proud of Dhvani Kailas (MY2), who won 3rd place, earning a trophy, certificate, and gift. Harshini Dixit (MY2) and Aradhana Amarnath (MY3) were also recognised with certificates and presents for their spirited performances.

Their achievement reflects not just their musical talent, but also the growing love for languages and cultures that defines our school community. Félicitations!

Celebrating Excellence in the Arts

Our Middle Years students continue to shine on stage, bringing pride and joy to our school community through their remarkable performances.

At the DAV Culturals, our theatre team set the stage ablaze with an extraordinary act, standing out among 12 schools and over 200 talented performers to secure an impressive 2nd place. A special shoutout to Viraansh Baid, who was awarded Best Actor, and to the team for also earning recognition for Best Lighting—a true reflection of their collective artistry and teamwork.

Meanwhile, at the Babaji Vidhyashram Culturals, Dhvani Kailas captivated hearts with her soulful solo performance, earning a well-deserved 1st place in the Solo Singing category.

Abhivyajana 2025 – Inter-School Hindi Competitions

Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon, proudly announces the exceptional linguistic brilliance and oratorical prowess displayed by its students at Abhivyajana 2025, a prestigious inter-school Hindi event hosted by The GEMS International School, Gurugram, on October 17th, 2025. This esteemed event successfully convened enthusiastic participants from several reputed schools across the city, providing a dynamic platform for students to articulate their creativity, intellect, and nuanced understanding of contemporary issues through the rich tapestry of the Hindi language.

Group Dramatization: "सजगता का शंखनाद" (The Clarion Call of Awareness)

Our school's team delivered a compelling and poignant dramatization on the critical topic, "भ्रष्टाचार का फैलाव, विकास का ठहराव" (The Spread of Corruption, the Stagnation of Development). The performance masterfully depicted how corruption impedes societal progress and erodes moral foundations. Through powerful dialogues, synchronized acting, and impactful expressions, the students brilliantly underscored the urgent imperative for heightened awareness and unwavering integrity in public life.

The talented team, comprising Divita Yadav (VIII Kanha), Maanya Verma (VIII Corbett), Aradhaya Verma (VIII Sariska), Aadya Kaushik (VIII Kanha), Kehkashan Saraf (VIII Corbett), Miraya Grover (VIII Sariska), Gurnoor Bhalla (VIII Corbett), Siddhi Vijayvergia (VIII Corbett), Abir (VIII Gir), and Shaurya Dhawan (VIII Gir), captivated the audience with their energetic presentation and impeccable coordination. Hindi Debate: "शब्दों की शस्त्रभूमि" (Battleground of Words)

In the fiercely contested Hindi debate, themed "जलवायु संकट का यही राज़, विकास बन गया विनाश का साज़" (The Secret of Climate Crisis: Development Becomes the Instrument of Destruction), our Senior School participants left a profound impression with their articulate arguments and deep comprehension of the subject matter. Madhavan Batra (IX Corbett) and Yashmay Rakyan (IX Ranthambore) represented Shiv Nadar School with remarkable confidence, clarity, and persuasive prowess. Their logical coherence, incisive reasoning, and impactful delivery distinguished their presentation amongst all contenders. Meticulously mentored by Ms. Pooja Sharma, the duo's thoughtful and well-balanced viewpoints earned them the First Position in this challenging competition.

DeutschUtsav - German Festival | Mayo College, Ajmer

Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon, proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of our German language learners at DeutschUtsav Season 5, an enriching inter-school festival hosted by Mayo College, Ajmer, from October 5th to 9th, 2025. A dedicated delegation of 19 enthusiastic students from Grades 7 to 12 (CBSE/IB) embarked on this unforgettable journey, accompanied by Ms Gunisha Khurana and Ms Varsha Nain.

Our students received comprehensive training and meticulous mentorship from our esteemed German faculty — Ms Poonam Yadav, Ms Gunisha Khurana, and Ms Aparna Kale — who expertly guided them through a diverse array of exciting competitions and cultural events.

DeutschUtsav serves as a vibrant and highly anticipated celebration of the German language, its rich culture, and creative expression. The festival commenced with a colourful opening ceremony and culminated in captivating performances by the talented students of Mayo College, reflecting the institution's deep-rooted respect for global cultures and traditions.

Over five thrilling days, students from leading schools across India and beyond, including participants from Dubai and Sri Lanka, converged to engage in learning, perform in various disciplines, and forge meaningful connections. The festival's extensive repertoire featured an array of engaging activities such as Spell Bee, Quiz, Declamation, Film Making, Ad Making, Singing, Poetry Recitation, and dynamic dance workshops.

Students from Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon, showcased exceptional talent at Pravaah 2025, a prestigious inter-school event hosted by The HDFC School, Gurugram, on October 15th, 2025. This vibrant platform successfully convened learners from over fifteen reputed schools across the city, fostering an environment for the expression of creativity, linguistic prowess, and cultural understanding through a diverse range of competitions.

In the highly anticipated Hindi category, the competition titled "दो विपरीत पात्रों की मुलाक़ात" (Encounter of Two Contrasting Characters) challenged participants to present an imaginative interaction between two divergent personalities. Representing Shiv Nadar School with distinction, Idhaant Gera (Grade VII, Kanha) and Reyaanshi Verma (Grade VII, Corbett) delivered a captivating performance, meticulously mentored by Ms Poonam Singh Pundir.

Their compelling act explored a highly relevant and contemporary theme: a dialogue between a mobile phone and a traditional book. The performance masterfully highlighted the profound influence of both on our daily lives, learning habits, and interpersonal relationships. Shiv Nadar School Faridabad proudly shares that Arshia Sethi (Grade 9 – Corbett) represented the school at the CBSE National Fencing Championship held from 29th September to 4th October 2025 at Delhi Public School, Rudrapur, Uttarakhand.

Competing against participants from 50 schools across India, Arshia delivered an impressive performance, securing the 5th position in the Épée Individual Event.

Her precision, determination, and poise reflect her growing mastery in the sport and embody the values of perseverance and excellence that SNS Faridabad stands for.

Maira Sikka Shines at the Haryana State School Games Skating Championship

Maira Sikka (Grade 9), Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, delivered an exceptional performance at the Haryana State School Games Skating Championship.

She won three Gold Medals in the Speedline U-17 Girls category:
• 3000m Road Race
• 1 Lap Road
• 1000m Track Race

With these stellar wins, Maira has been selected to represent Haryana at the SGFI National Roller Skating Championship.

ISSO Table Tennis National Championship

At the ISSO Table Tennis National Championship 2025–26, Shiv Nadar School, Noida secured the Runner-up position in the Under-14 Boys Team Event. In the Girls Under-17 Individual Event, Sarah Dhingra (Grade 11) delivered an outstanding performance, winning the Gold Medal and being named the Best Player.

Reflection EKA ‘Reminiscence’ - Edition 5

Reflection EKA, edition 5 an annual publication, by the parents for the parents, serves as a shared creative experience that fosters open communication and builds lasting bonds, strengthening engagement and collaboration within the parent community. Centred around the theme ‘Reminiscence’,  launch was initiated with the Year Gone By video highlighting parent engagements throughout the year, followed by our parents reflections on the collective journey. The book brought together reflections, poems, and stories that revisited cherished childhood memories and traditions — weaving a rich tapestry of our collective experiences. The highlight of this edition was the precious contribution of our grandparents, whose stories of resilience, love, and joy added timeless wisdom and warmth to our shared narrative.
