The Grade 2 Fun Fair was a joyful celebration of the learners’ journey and a wonderful culmination of their learning across different domains. It gave an opportunity for the children to showcase their understanding and skills by engaging their parents in a variety of thoughtfully designed activities. It beautifully reflected the children’s confidence, creativity, and sense of responsibility.
Taking complete ownership of their learning, the learners confidently conducted different game corners and invited their parents to participate. Each activity reflected the concepts and skills they had explored in class.
The language corner came alive as learners creatively wove stories, using their imagination and storytelling skills to engage their audience. The art station showcased their creativity, where children enthusiastically worked alongside their parents to create colorful pieces. Children took ownership of their learning during the fun fair, confidently managing the stalls and independently guiding their parents through their learning journey. Parents along with children thoroughly enjoyed the experience, making it both fun and meaningful.

The visit became even more special when the children got the opportunity to interact with farm animals. They enjoyed gently petting animals like rabbits and birds and excitedly fed animals including sheep, goats, cows, horses, donkeys, buffaloes and ducks. This hands-on experience helped them develop curiosity, empathy and care for living beings.

On 7th March 2026, Shiv Nadar School welcomed its parents through the New Parent Orientation Program, an important initiative designed to introduce parents to the philosophy, vision, and larger purpose of the Shiv Nadar School community.
The orientation, led by the Parent Partnership Office, offered parents an opportunity to interact with the Senior Leadership Team and gain deeper insights into the values and beliefs that guide the learning journey at Shiv Nadar School.
During the session, parents were introduced to the school’s philosophy of holistic learning, its commitment to nurturing curious, compassionate, and confident learners, and the larger vision of the Shiv Nadar Foundation, which works toward creating transformative educational opportunities and lasting social impact. The orientation helped parents see the bigger picture of how the school’s efforts are part of a broader mission to shape responsible global citizens.
A key highlight of the program was the introduction to the Parent Partnership Program, which emphasizes the important role parents play as valued ambassadors and collaborative partners in the school community. Parents were encouraged to actively participate in various school initiatives, discussions, and learning engagements, fostering a culture of shared responsibility and mutual growth.
At Shiv Nadar School, we believe that education thrives through collaboration. Parents are not just observers but essential partners in the journey of learning and development. Through strong partnerships, the school continues to build meaningful initiatives that extend beyond the classroom and positively impact the larger community.
"We all have our time machines; memories take us back, dreams take us forward"
The children of Foundation Nursey & KG concluded the year full of learning, discovery, confidence & joy through Anandam – The Journey of Unbridled Joy. This celebration reflected the wonderful growth of our children. Through music and movement, we revisit the experiences and happy moments that made this year so special.
To add deeper meaning, children coloured their Angavastram and dip it in natural turmeric (haldi), which symbolises purity, healing, safety, and positivity. A heartwarming moment is when each child places a kumkum handprint beside their teacher’s, creating a beautiful keepsake of their shared journey. The Angavastram is then given to them as a symbol of care and protection.
Anandam celebrated the happiness, milestones, and memories that were created together
