From the Human Biology section to the interactive Fun Science exhibits, learners engaged with models, simulations, and experiments that brought textbook concepts to life. A highlight of the visit was the “Science Spectrum,” where students witnessed live demonstrations illustrating fundamental laws of physics alongside insights into ancient Indian technologies.

Grade 4 students at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad participated in an engaging and informative session with Shruti Bhanot, Deputy Manager and Nutritionist at HCL Healthcare.
The session explored key topics such as digestion, macro and micronutrients, healthy daily habits, and acid reflux. Students gained a clear understanding of how the body processes food and why balanced meals and mindful eating matter. The discussion on healthy habits highlighted the importance of regular physical activity, adequate hydration, and reducing the intake of processed foods.
Ms. Bhanot also addressed acid reflux in a simple and relatable manner, offering practical tips to manage and prevent it through conscious food choices and lifestyle adjustments.
The session concluded with students taking a pledge to care for their bodies by making informed food choices and adopting healthy routines. It was a meaningful learning experience that empowered young learners to take responsibility for their well-being.
Grade 4 learners at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad had the opportunity to engage in a delightful storytelling session with acclaimed children’s author Bijal Vachharajani, known for her planet-friendly titles such as A Cloud Called Bhura, When Fairyland Lost Its Magic, and The Cuckoo Capers.
With expressive narration and thoughtful voice modulation, she immediately drew the students into the world of stories. Through prediction prompts and reflective questions, the session became an interactive literary exchange rather than a simple reading.
Her narration of Left Out Paru unfolded with lyrical rhythm, animated expressions, and engaging actions that kept learners fully immersed. Carefully woven activities throughout the session encouraged active participation and deeper thinking.

Solar System – Bringing Concepts to Life
As part of their learning, learners explored the inner and outer planets, stars, moons and satellites, asteroids, and comets through structured investigation files. Working in groups, they shared their findings with the class and engaged in interactive discussions, confidently asking questions and exchanging ideas.
On the final day, the classroom transformed into a vibrant model of the solar system. Each learner selected a planet, stood in the correct orbit around the Sun, shared key facts, and revolved to music—bringing the concept of planetary motion to life in an experiential and memorable way.
Uses of Everyday Materials – Exhibition (22nd January)
The theme “Uses of Everyday Materials” culminated in an engaging exhibition where learners showcased projects created using waste materials. The initiative encouraged creativity, sustainability, and practical application of learning.
The exhibition featured innovative creations such as flower vases, windmills, toys, stationery holders, garbage churners, tape dispensers, photo frames, and other useful and decorative objects. Each project reflected the learners’ understanding of reusing everyday materials responsibly.
Learners visited each other’s homerooms with excitement and curiosity, appreciating their peers’ work. They confidently explained their projects to classmates and teachers, strengthening their communication skills while reinforcing the importance of recycling and responsible resource use.
Both culminations highlighted experiential learning in Grade 1, fostering collaboration, creativity, confidence, and deeper conceptual understanding.
On 20th February 2026, the Grade 1 learners of Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad visited Jungle Trail, Noida as part of their experiential learning programme. The field trip was thoughtfully designed to give students hands-on exposure to animals, their habitats, and the importance of environmental conservation.
The visit began with a guided walk through the trail, where learners observed a variety of animals and installations crafted from recycled materials. They enthusiastically identified different animals and engaged in discussions about their food habits and natural habitats, confidently connecting classroom learning with real-world observation.
A key highlight of the visit was the creative display of animals made from recycled materials. This sparked meaningful conversations around sustainability and responsible use of resources. Learners actively shared ideas on objects that could be created from recycled items, demonstrating awareness and imagination.

The theme ‘I Love Toys’ offered a joyful and enriching learning experience for our Nursery learners at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, nurturing curiosity, imagination, and meaningful connections. Throughout the theme, children explored a variety of toys, learning their names, identifying their features, and understanding the importance of caring for them responsibly. This exploration meaningfully strengthened their vocabulary and communication skills.
As a delightful culmination, the children planned and organised a Picnic for Toys. This engaging experience brought their learning together in a playful yet purposeful manner, encouraging ownership and teamwork. Through this activity, learners developed logical thinking, organisational skills, and collaboration, while pretend play further supported their social and language development.
The Early Years Learning Walk at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad was a joyful celebration of curiosity, confidence, and growth across Nursery, Foundation Year, and Kindergarten. Conducted on 18th and 19th February 2026, the event offered parents a meaningful window into their children’s learning journeys and the experiences that shaped their year.
The Foundation Year presentation centred on the theme ‘I Love Stories – Fantasy’, bringing imagination to life through storytelling and performance. The morning began with Circle Time, where learners confidently led a mindfulness chant, creating a calm and positive atmosphere. A lively Hindi rhyme recital followed, showcasing expressive actions and growing language confidence.
Each section presented a unique story aligned to the central theme — including Driggety Droo – The Very Determined Dragon, Supertato, The Gruffalo, The Magical Toy Box, and The Magic of Sneezy Spells. The presentations reflected creativity, collaboration, and strong communication skills. The event concluded with an energetic ‘Moving Up’ dance, celebrating both achievement and transition.
Beyond performance, the Learning Walk highlighted children’s social-emotional development, self-regulation, and growing confidence — hallmarks of holistic early years education.
The Nursery Learning Walk was a vibrant showcase of learning rooted in themes such as I Love Water, I Love Animals, Seasons, I Love Plants, and I Love Food. Children sang melodious songs together, performed expressive role-plays, and demonstrated their understanding through music and movement.
An art gallery displaying children’s work from across the year added depth to the experience, allowing parents to see the creative exploration that accompanied classroom learning. The event was met with warm appreciation, as families witnessed their children’s joy, independence, and growth.
The Kindergarten Learning Walk, held in the amphitheatre, brought together all sections in a collective celebration of their final year in the early years programme. Centred around the theme ‘My World’, the presentation beautifully blended performing and visual arts.
Learners performed rhythmic movements to music and presented theme-based showcases, culminating in a spirited group rendition of Do Re Mi. The celebration concluded with a Graduation Ceremony, where each child received a sash and scroll — marking an important milestone in their educational journey.
The Learning Walk across all early years cohorts reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing confident communicators, creative thinkers, and socially aware learners. It was a proud moment for the entire school community, celebrating not just academic milestones, but the joy and wonder of early childhood learning.

Kiaan Kapoor, a Nursery class student of Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, has secured First Position in the Under-6 category at an Open Tennis Tournament organised by Jagannath Tennis Academy.
The tournament saw participation from children across Delhi NCR. At just 4 years of age, Kiaan was the youngest participant in his category, competing against players aged 5½ years and above. The competition assessed core tennis skills including forehand and backhand strokes, where Kiaan outperformed his peers with a clear margin. He was awarded a trophy, medal, and certificate for his achievement.
Adding to this accomplishment, in January 2026, Kiaan participated in another Delhi Open Tennis Tournament (U-6 category) organised by a different academy and secured the First Runner-Up position, once again earning a trophy, medal, and certificate.
Kiaan began his tennis journey at the age of two. His discipline, consistency, and love for the sport are clearly reflected in these early milestones.

The 9th Interschool Adaptive Athletic Championship 2026 was held on 11 February 2026 at Heritage Xperiential Learning School, Gurugram. The event was organised collaboratively by the SEN and Physical Education Departments of the host school, with a strong focus on inclusion, confidence-building, and promoting sportsmanship among students with diverse learning needs.
Students from the SEN Department of Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad enthusiastically participated in the championship, representing the school across Early Years, Primary, and Middle Years categories.
