Between 9th and 14th May, a student-led debate activity based on the Hindi curriculum was conducted for Classes 9 and 10 during Hindi periods. Organized and moderated by students under the mentorship of their teachers, the activity fostered critical thinking, leadership, and teamwork.
Class 9 engaged in a debate on whether struggle is the key to success, inspired by the poem Agnipath, while Class 10 discussed the enduring importance of family in society, drawing from Harihar Kaka. Students presented mature, thoughtful arguments and took charge of all event aspects, including anchoring and timekeeping.
The debates were engaging and respectful, highlighting students’ confidence, sense of responsibility, and analytical skills. This enriching experience encouraged learners to connect literature with real-life perspectives, reinforcing the values of articulate expression and collaborative learning.
