New Parents Orientation - AY 2022 - 23

Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad conducted a Parent Orientation for the new parents of the 2022-23 session on Wednesday, 16th Feb 2022

The Orientation aimed at welcoming our new parents and sharing with them what we do and how we do things at Shiv Nadar School. It was also a platform for the parents to interact with Senior Leadership of the SNS. 

Our CEO Col. Gopal Karunakaran, shared the journey of our school in terms of its foundation, infrastructure and ethos. He also briefed the parents about all the educational initiatives that come under the Shiv Nadar Foundation umbrella. He shared that moving from strength to strength, we are now 4 schools (the Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad began in 2015) a 4000+ students, 500+ staff and 8000+ parent strong community. Shiv Nadar School Chennai will begin in 2023.

Our Principal, Mrs Anju Wal walked the parents through the vision and mission, value system and pillars of the school. She shared how Our philosophy is supported by value-led action. She spoke about Architecture of Robust, Connected and Uninterrupted learning at FBD campus. Hybrid, Asynchronous and Synchronous Teaching Learning Design.

Our Parent Partnership Officer - Bhagya Laxmi Sinha, shared the importance of a strong parent-partnership program at SNS. She stressed on the fact that The School Management, Teachers and Parents are partners in achieving excellence, as well as mentors throughout the child’s unending yet joyful road of knowledge delivery and construction. 

Congratulations Avviraaj Kalia

Avviraaj Kalia of Grade 1 was placed 'Winner' in the 22nd Greens to Glory Junior Golf Tournamnet held at Classic Golf and Country Club in the age category E (8 years and below).

He previously secured 1st Position in the Champion of Champions Tournament by Acegolfindia held on 22nd July at Jaypee Greens Noida. 

ASSET 2021

6 students have been awarded the Outstanding Performance Certificates, 13 have been awarded Distinguished Performance Certificates and 30 of our participating students (from a total of 179) have been awarded a Certificate of Creditable Performance for ASSET 2021. 

Description of Categories 

• Outstanding: overall top 1% students per class countrywide
• Distinguished: overall next 5% students per class countrywide
• Creditable: Overall next 10% students per class countrywide

Asset Assessments Results 2023-24

The Asset Assessments for the 2023-24 session concluded in September, revealing exceptional performers. 

ASSET is a skill-based assessment that measures students' conceptual understanding and benchmarks the school’s performance at international, national & regional levels. It gives students and teachers tangible insights through easy-to-understand reports. After attempting ASSET, the learners receive a student report (SMBs) with customized feedback on their strengths, misconceptions and areas of improvement in the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science. Teacher reports for each class inform lesson planning by highlighting the skills that are a strength, and those that need improvement. 

Kudos to our Outstanding Achievers (top 1%), Distinguished Achievers (top 5%), and Creditable Achievers (top 10%).

Shiv Nadar School Faridabad Students Shine at Youth Ideathon Challenge 2024

Grade 11 students from Shiv Nadar School Faridabad participated in the Youth Ideathon Challenge organized by CBSE and ThinkStartup. Out of more than 1,200 entries, two projects from our school made it to the top 100.

The project titled "Limbsure", led by Arnav Mittal, Divyam Tayal, Vilakshan Goel, and Manthan Varshney, secured 3rd place in the Fundraiser Category in the grand finale. The team successfully presented their idea to investors and IIT Delhi professors.

Another project, "BROX," by Raghav Garg, Neeyati Saini, Rayirth, Kaashvi Dewan, and Shagun Rajput, also earned a spot in the top 100.

Kairav Pappu Wins Silver at the Faridabad District Sub Junior Taekwondo Championship 2024

Kairav Pappu, a student of Grade 4 at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, has achieved remarkable success by winning a silver medal at the Faridabad District Sub Junior Taekwondo Championship 2024. The event, held on Saturday, 19th October, saw Kairav competing against some of the best young athletes in the district.

Aruj Sahai: Rising Chess Star from Grade 2 Ranthambore, Shiv Nadar School Faridabad

Aruj Sahai, a passionate chess player from Grade 2 Ranthambore at Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, has demonstrated exceptional skill and strategic acumen in the game of chess. Since April 2024, Aruj has participated in numerous prestigious chess tournaments, showcasing his talent and securing impressive positions. Below is a summary of his remarkable achievements:

Pranit Rastogi Shines at World Cadet Chess Championship 2025 – Secures 4th Place for India

Pranit Rastogi, a Grade 3 student at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, represented India at the prestigious World Cadet Chess Championship 2025, held in Rhodes, Greece, this April.

Pranit delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 4th in the Under-8 category and standing joint third based on points. He was the only Indian player to secure a spot in the Top 4 of this global championship.

In recognition of his remarkable achievement, Pranit Rastogi has been invited to be felicitated on June 13th by Ms. Kiran Chopra (Chairperson, Punjab Kesari Group) and Shri Vipul Goyal (Cabinet Minister, Government of Haryana).
