Aariv Khurana Secures Top 6 Finish at Faridabad District Chess Championship
Aariv Khurana of Grade 2, Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, delivered an impressive performance at the Faridabad District Chess Championship 2026–27. He secured 6th position in the Under 7 category, earning a medal along with a certificate of merit.

Evaara Singh Shines at Faridabad District Chess Championship
Evaara Singh of Grade 2, Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, delivered an outstanding performance at the Faridabad District Chess Championship, organised by the All Faridabad Chess Association, held on 4–5 April 2026.
She secured 1st position in the Under-7 Girls category. At just 6 years of age, Evaara went on to compete in the higher Under-9 Girls category as well, where she achieved an impressive 3rd position.
Her achievement reflects both exceptional skill and confidence at a young age.
Avisha Arya Shines at State Level Olympiads
Avisha Arya, a student of Grade 4 at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, has achieved outstanding success at the state level in the prestigious English International Olympiad organised by the Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO).
She has secured State Rank 3, emerging as a topper among approximately 5000 participants. In recognition of her achievement, Avisha has been awarded a Scholarship, Medal, and Certificate.
In addition, Avisha also participated in the International General Knowledge Olympiad, where she secured State Rank 21. She has been conferred the title of Best Performer for being among the Top 25 at the state level, and will receive a certificate along with a formal commendation.

Pranit Rastogi Excels in Chess
Pranit Rastogi of Grade 4, Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, has delivered an impressive series of performances in chess this year.
He secured 3rd position (25 March) and 2nd position (26 March) at the Open Grandmaster Chess Camp Tournament conducted by Himanshu Sharma.
He further emerged as the Champion at the Under-9 District Chess Tournament 2026–27, held on 5 April 2026 at Grand Columbus School Faridabad, finishing undefeated across all 6 games.

Tiara Jain Secures 2nd Position at Faridabad District Chess Championship
Tiara Jain, a student of MYP 1 at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, has secured 2nd position in the Under-11 category at the Faridabad District Chess Tournament, held on 4th April.

Viraaj Vir Singh, a student of Grade 3 at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, delivered an impressive performance at the Faridabad District Chess Championship 2026–27, organised by the All Faridabad Chess Association, and held on 4th and 5th April at Grand Columbus International School.
Viraaj secured the 1st position in the Under-7 (Boys) category, showcasing exceptional skill and focus. He further demonstrated his capability by achieving the 10th position in the Under-9 (Boys) category.

Jayansh Dhingra Excels at District Chess Championship 2026–27
Jayansh Dhingra of Grade 8, Gir, Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, delivered an outstanding performance at the Faridabad District Chess Championship, held on 4th–5th April 2026.
Competing in the Under 15 Open category, Jayansh clinched the championship title, an exceptional feat especially as he is currently just 12 years old and competed in an over-age category. He further demonstrated his consistency by securing the 3rd position in the Under 13 Open category.
Continuing his strong track record, Jayansh had also emerged as the U15 Open Champion in the previous year and secured the 2nd position in the U13 Open category.

Divit Virmani Secures 2nd Position at All India Gymnastics Competition 2026

Arya Sisters Shine at District Chess Championship 2026–27
Avisha Arya of Grade 4, Ranthambore, a student of Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, secured the joint 3rd position at the Faridabad District Chess Championship 2026–27, held on 4th and 5th April 2026. Competing in the Under 9 Girls Category, Avisha displayed strong strategic thinking and focus, earning a trophy, medal, and certificate for her achievement at the district level.
Adding to this proud moment, her younger sister Avanya Arya student of Grade 2, Kanha also performed exceptionally well, securing the 4th position in the Under 7 category.

Outdoor Learning Experience: Kabini, Mudumalai and Ranthambore
Our Middle Years students recently embarked on their Outdoor Learning Experience (OLE) journeys to Mudumalai (MY1), Kabini (MY2), and Ranthambore–Abhaneri (MY3)—immersing themselves in environments that offered rich opportunities for exploration, connection, and growth.
Set against diverse natural and cultural landscapes, these experiences encouraged students to step beyond familiar routines and engage meaningfully with the world around them. From navigating forest trails to observing wildlife habitats, each location offered its own unique context for learning.
Students participated in a range of activities that challenged both body and mind, including rock climbing and rappelling, which built resilience, confidence, and trust. Creative experiences such as pottery sessions with local artisans provided insight into traditional crafts, while interactions within villages allowed students to experience a day in the life of local communities—fostering empathy, respect, and a deeper understanding of different ways of living.
The camps were equally filled with moments of joy and collaboration. Students worked together to build shelters using natural materials like leaves, twigs, and stems, engaged in team games, and shared stories and songs around the campfire—strengthening bonds and creating lasting memories.
Across all three locations, the OLE was not just about adventure, but about developing independence, adaptability, and a sense of responsibility. Students learned to navigate unfamiliar situations, support one another, and reflect on their experiences—gaining perspectives that extend far beyond the classroom.
The Outdoor Learning Experience continues to be a meaningful part of our programme, offering students the space to discover not only the world around them, but also their own capabilities within it.
