Planet in Practice: Young Leaders Championing Sustainability

Demonstrating environmental leadership and adaptability, six Grade 5 students—Mahir Bhatia, Riddhii Kapur, Yohaan Agarwal, Mira Merani, Rudheera Iyer, and Noora Ahmad—participated in the international Round Square Postcard Event, "Planet in Practice – Stories of Sustainability." Prior to the event, the team researched sustainable practices within Shiv Nadar School by interviewing Ms. Ashu Ratra and Col. Puneet Salhotra. During the live online session, students navigated unexpected interactive breakout groups with composure. They confidently presented their findings, discussed real-world sustainability solutions, and exchanged ideas with international participants. Their active involvement highlighted the school's commitment to nurturing conscientious, articulate global citizens dedicated to protecting our planet.
