Local Roots, Global Goals: Shiv Nadar School Champions Gender Equality at Round Square Postcard Event

Our students from Shiv Nadar School, Noida—Manvi Mavi, Aryanna Sachdeva, Ria Ajmera, Isbah Nayyar, Mehak Bharti, and Jaanhvi Sikdar—represented the school at an engaging online Round Square Zoom Postcard Session under the guidance of Ms. Swati Chhabra. Hosted by The Cathedral and John Connon School, the event centered on "Local Roots, Global Goals: SDGs in Our Cities". Bringing together students globally, the platform featured interactive icebreakers, breakout presentations, and shared reflections on city-level SDG initiatives. Our team delivered a presentation on SDG-5 (Gender Equality), highlighting the efforts of Delhi-based NGO Jagori in raising awareness on gender justice, combating violence, and ensuring safety in public spaces.
