Fostering strong student leadership from the ground up, our school recently hosted a dynamic workshop on leadership and democracy organized by the Middle Years Student Council for Grade 6 students. Designed to bridge experience and curiosity, the session offered young learners a hands-on introduction to essential democratic principles, shared decision-making, and responsible leadership.
Through peer mentorship, guided group discussions, and real-world scenarios, the Student Council demonstrated how active listening and inclusivity build strong communities. Grade 6 students actively participated, asking insightful questions and exploring what it truly means to lead with integrity. This impactful initiative not only strengthened bonds across grade levels but also inspired our rising leaders to embrace civic responsibility and make a difference.
