Empowering Youth, Protecting Planet: Round Square Postcard Event

 Shiv Nadar School Grade 7 students actively participated in the virtual Round Square Postcard event, "People, Power, and the Planet: Can Democracy Tackle the Climate Emergency?", organized by Royal Global School. Guided by teacher coordinator Vineet Kumar Giri, the student delegation—including Aryaveer, Soneera Pherwani, Yashna Sehgal, Priyadarshini Chetry, Kamakhya, and Reya Kaul—joined interactive breakout sessions with international peers. Discussions centered on crucial ecological issues, including sustainable land management, combatting the urban heat island effect, and the role of democratic policies in safeguarding forests and wetlands. The event provided a vibrant platform for young leaders to exchange diverse perspectives, cultivate civic awareness, and strengthen their commitment to driving collective climate action and sustainable global solutions.
