Beyond the Game: Global Connections Through Sport

Six enthusiastic students from Shiv Nadar School—Aanya Taneja, Yashasvi Chhabra, Kuhu Machama, Nevan Kataria, Mishka Gupta, and Aayushmaan Mishra—participated in an international Round Square Postcard Event hosted by Woodridge College and Preparatory School, South Africa.

Guided by teacher coordinator Anupriya Sachdeva, the session explored how athletic participation shapes personal growth, asking, "How can being involved in different sports at school help us grow not just as athletes, but as people?"

Through engaging discussions with peers from around the world, students shared personal experiences on sportsmanship, teamwork, resilience, and global friendship. The event provided a meaningful platform for cross-cultural exchange, inspiring students to appreciate sports as a tool for personal development and international connection.
