Shiv Nadar School, Chennai, has achieved a remarkable milestone at the World Robot Olympiad (WRO) National Virtual Championship, with our student team securing an impressive National Rank 4 among nearly 300 teams from across India.
Represented by Varshika Karthikeyan (MY4), Harshini Dixit (MY3), and Adwaithaa Ganesharatnam (MY3), the team earned this recognition based on the strength of their engineering design report, even before the evaluation of their working prototype. Their accomplishment reflects the depth of their research, design thinking, technical communication, and ability to approach complex challenges through innovative problem-solving.
The team’s achievement has earned them a place at the WRO Chennai Regional Championship, where they will present and demonstrate their prototype before an expert jury. This next stage provides an opportunity for learners to further showcase their creativity, technical expertise, and collaborative approach.
The success highlights the impact of the school’s Design and Makerspace programme, which empowers learners to explore, experiment, and create solutions through hands-on learning. It stands as a testament to their perseverance, curiosity, and the spirit of innovation nurtured within the Shiv Nadar School community.
