Ruhaan Taneja Shines in Chess and Football

Ruhaan Taneja (Grade 4 Corbett) has brought pride to Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, through his achievements in both chess and football.

Ruhaan was part of the school’s Under-11 Boys Chess Team that secured first position at the CBSE North Zone II Boys Chess Championship, held in Kurukshetra from 24 to 27 August 2026. He won four out of five matches, including the crucial final round. The team has qualified for the CBSE Nationals Chess Tournament, tentatively scheduled to be held in Jalandhar in October 2026.

Ruhaan is also representing Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, in the AIFF Blue Cubs League as part of the school’s Under-9 Football Team. In the match held on 29 August 2026, the team delivered an impressive performance and secured a 4–0 victory. Ruhaan scored two goals and was awarded the Player of the Match Trophy for his contribution.
