Representing India with Pride: Anirudhan Shines at Asian Junior Bowling Championships

Anirudhan Sanjeevi (MY4) represented India at the prestigious 25th Asian Junior Bowling Championships, held in Jakarta, Indonesia, delivering an impressive performance among some of the finest young bowlers from across Asia.

Competing against approximately 130 junior bowlers representing 15 countries, Anirudhan secured a place among the Top 50 players in the championship. His performance reflected remarkable growth and consistency, with his average score improving significantly from 165 in the previous championship to an impressive 190.83 this year — a testament to his dedication, disciplined training, and continuous pursuit of excellence.

During the championship, Anirudhan competed across 18 games, recording a total pinfall of 3,435 and achieving a highest game score of 240. His performance placed him among a highly competitive field of 90 boys and 39 girls representing countries from across Asia.

Beyond the numbers, Anirudhan’s participation highlighted his resilience, independence, and mental strength. His performance received appreciation from the Indian Bowling Federation, who recognised his confidence, composure, and ability to compete independently on such a prestigious platform.
