Celebrating Theatre and Storytelling: Shiv Nadar School Shines at DAV Natyanatika

Students from Shiv Nadar School, Chennai showcased their creativity and theatrical excellence at DAV Natyanatika, an inter-school theatre competition held at Rani Seethai Hall, bringing together 21 schools and over 210 participants.

The competition’s theme, “Unsung Heroes of Bharat,” resonated deeply with the school’s physical theatre production on Thillaiyadi Valliammai, allowing learners to explore history, identity, and storytelling through performance.

Represented by a team of 12 actors from MY1 to MY4, the students delivered a powerful performance that earned them four accolades3rd Best Play Overall, Best Supporting Actress for Aradhya Parakh, Best Actor for Viraansh Baid, and Best Dialogue Delivery (Group).

This achievement celebrates the learners’ creativity, collaboration, confidence, and ability to bring meaningful stories to life through the performing arts. Their success reflects the power of theatre as a platform for expression, empathy, and deeper engagement with diverse narratives.
