Sameer Arora is the Vice Principal, Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon. Sameer is a natural leader, a collaborator, and an educator with over 24 years of the school experience. He firmly believes that the purpose of his life is to help children and people under his care find and attain their goals.

Sameer has a Master’s degree in Commerce and a degree in education. He has also attained a “Certificate in Leadership” from Columbia Business School and “Understanding Leadership” from International Baccalaureate. He has experience in establishing travel-based start-ups to offer experiential education programmes to the youth and has travelled to over 20 countries. He has also Led “Unlock Hour”, an educational programme run by the National Geographic Channel as their Project Head, India.

He has received the Duke of Edinburgh Award for his distinguished voluntary services to the Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition and Punarjyot (an organisation working on reviving peace dialogue between India and Pakistan through academic and cultural exchange.)  He has also been awarded Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction for excellence by the National Society of High School Scholars, USA, and the “Inspirational Educator Award” by the International Alliance of Counsellors & Educators. 

As a prolific speaker and passionate educator, he has been invited on multiple platforms by ed-tech companies, higher-ed institutes, and trade commissions of governments of different countries to express his opinion and share his expertise with the larger community. He likes to spend his free time with his dog, books, and music.
