Parent-Led Initiatives: Empowering Through Hygiene and Wellness

At Shiv Nadar School, we take pride in fostering community partnerships that promote well-being. Our parent community has taken the lead in fostering health and well-being through meaningful initiatives. In collaboration with the NGO Goodworks Trust, which runs evening classes on our campus to provide a safe learning space for children, parents have stepped forward to create a positive impact through various awareness and support programs.

Joy of Sharing: Parent-Led Dental Camp

As part of the Joy of Sharing initiative, our parents organized a dental camp for the children attending these evening classes. The camp aimed to educate these children about the oral hygiene sharing with them practical tips and addressing common dental concerns.

In addition, basic dental check-ups were conducted to ensure their oral health is on track, contributing to the overall well-being of the students.

Pause for a Cause: Parent-Led Menstrual Hygiene Workshop

A parent-led session on menstrual hygiene was conducted for girls aged 9 and above. The workshop aimed to educate the girls on essential hygiene practices and empower them with essential knowledge and practices to support their health and well-being.

This initiative will continue throughout the year, providing ongoing support and reinforcing good hygiene habits.

Through these parent-led efforts, we aim to create a nurturing environment that prioritizes education, health, and community care.
