Baisakhi Celebration - Early Years

We, at Shiv Nadar School, believe that learning is not restricted to books and instructions. We aim to imbibe in our children the values and ethos of very culture and community. To make our children aware of the spring harvest festival in all its essence, the children of Early Years celebrated Baishakhi on Friday, April 12, 2019.

A special musical assembly was arranged for the children and the facilitators presented a role play followed by Homeroom discussions on Baisakhi.

The Nursery children carried back home memories in the form of self-made craft. They made impressions of maize plant by finger painting.

The KG children also made a take away craft. They have wheat plant and added  wheat grains using potter’s clay. The activity was integrated with Junior Math.

The Grade 1 children  made their own ‘Phulkari’ art and added colours to the intricate design.
