I LOVE MAY ‘COS IT IS MY B’DAY!

This May, our young readers were captivated, inspired, and moved as we marked and celebrated the extraordinary works of RUSKIN BOND and MICHAEL ROSEN on their birthdays!

Three weeks of captivating book readings, fun-filled poetry performances, insightful board displays, and exhilarating contests made D.E.A.R. time extra special! Students of grades 3-5, brimming with excitement, were enthralled by the authors' own childhood adventures as they navigated their way through life, occasionally finding themselves in hilarious run-ins with authority figures. But it's not all mischief and mayhem! Our little bookworms also reveled in the heartwarming tales of friendship and the pure, unadulterated joy that it brings.

On May 15th, 2023, our Director-Principal, Ms. Anju Wal, regaled the eager students of grade 5 with a read-aloud of the fascinating tale by Ruskin Bond titled 'Pret in the House'.

Similar sessions were organized for Grade 4 and grade 3 on the following days. The ceremonial cutting of the "books cake" marked the celebrations as each student clutched their own treasured book, ready to embark on an adventure within its pages.
