Grade – 5 assembly – 25th April’18
5 Kanha did the assembly on 25th April 2018. The topic for the Assembly was ‘Earth day’. Students started the assembly with prayer and shared the news- national, international, sports and school. The thought of the day was also an interesting one-‘ The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.’
Students then presented a mime play showing how we humans were polluting our environment every day. This kept the audience engaged and gave them food for thought too. Then a student from 5 Corbett had made a presentation on ‘Say No to Plastics’, which he presented and urged the students to have a green birthday party by not using disposable plastic crockery or any plastic decorations.
The Sanskriti MUN 2018-19
The Sanskriti MUN 2018-19 commenced on the 26th of April, 2018 with much fanfare at the Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri. 5 of our Grade 8 students participated in the MUN.

Workshop- Service as Action Day- Grade -9- April 27th’18
Our four students from grade 9 visited DPSI Gurgaon on Friday, April 27, 2018 to observe their 'Service as Action Day‘.
Service as Action is an integral part of the IB MYP curriculum. their students at DPSI have dedicated their thoughts, time and effort to successfully complete their self-initiated projects and make useful contributions to the community, while meeting their own individual learning objectives.
Our students witnessed this journey shared by their students through a display of their project work. This was a great opportunity for students to interact informally and exchange ideas and learning.
Tashna Agrawal wins Gold and Silver at the CBSE Zonal Skating championship
Tashna Agrawal from grade 2 has won Gold medal in 300 Mt. time trial skating and Silver in 1000 Mt. at the CBSE Zonal Skating championship. This was held at Shephire International School Noida from 24th October to 26th October 18. She has also qualified for the CBSE National championship which will be held at Krishna Public School, Chastisgarh from 28th November to 30th November 18.
Viraj Singh Goel (3 – Sariska) wins Gold at Sports Eye Open Shooting Competition
Viraj Singh Goel- 3 Sariska, won a "GOLD" medal in the "1st SPORTS EYE OPEN SHOOTING COMPETITION 2018" (Open to all shooters across the country) 2018 held from 31st October – 4th November 2018 in UP.
He participated in the “Air Rifle NR Under 12 Little Champs Category” and scored 393 points out of 400. He was the “youngest shooter” of the competition and earned special recognition from the organizers on this feat. In addition, he was also awarded the “Best Scorer” award for his performance.

Under 17 Father Agnel Interschool Football Championship
Shiv Nadar School Noida participated in the "under 17 Father Agnel Interschool Football Championship" held at Father Agnel School from 31st July to 3rd August 2018.
It was a proud Moment for all of us when the under 17 Boys Football team of Shiv Nadar School, Noida became the "The Tournament Champions"
