Empowering Young Leaders: Student Council Investiture Ceremony
The halls of our school echoed with excitement and pride as we marked a historic milestone—the Investiture Ceremony of our first-ever Student Council. This momentous occasion was a celebration of leadership, responsibility, and the voice of our student body.
The journey began with Grades MY1 and MY2 stepping up as nominees, eager to represent their peers, while Grades PY4 to MY2 exercised their right to vote, making this a true reflection of democratic values in action. After an engaging campaign period and an enthusiastic election process, the Student Council members were officially recognized in a grand investiture ceremony.
The event commenced with the much-anticipated announcement of the elected members, after which our Principal, Ms. Padmini Sambasivam, conferred badges upon the young leaders, symbolizing their commitment to upholding the values of integrity, teamwork, and service. She then led the students in a solemn oath-taking ceremony, where each member pledged to lead with dedication, fairness, and a deep sense of responsibility toward their fellow students.
Adding to the significance of the event, our newly elected Student Council leaders took the stage to share their thoughts on leadership, speaking passionately about the values of responsibility, collaboration, and perseverance. Their words resonated with their peers, setting an inspiring tone for their term ahead.
Our Student Council Heads, along with the House Captains, Vice Captains and Secretaries, stepped forward with confidence, ready to take on their roles as mentors, problem-solvers, and ambassadors of student aspirations. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, reinforcing the idea that leadership is not just about titles but about making a meaningful difference in the school community.
With this investiture, we embark on an exciting new chapter, empowering our young leaders to collaborate, innovate, and inspire. The future is bright, and we can't wait to witness the positive impact of our Student Council in the days ahead!

Through this experience, our students:
✅ Built leadership and teamwork skills through event management.
✅ Enhanced communication and interpersonal abilities by interacting with students from different schools.
✅ Developed responsibility and organization by handling logistics.
✅ Gained valuable exposure to high-level competitions.
✅ Embraced the spirit of collaboration and inclusivity as gracious hosts.
From ensuring smooth transitions between venues to reading out rules, managing time, assisting with meals, and creating a welcoming environment, our students truly rose to the occasion!
Looking Ahead
With such an inspiring debut, we are excited to make STEAMphony an annual tradition—continuing to empower students as leaders while fostering a love for STEAM learning in the larger community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making STEAMphony 2025 a resounding success!
