Sports Meet 2024 (PY3 to MY2)
The spirit of competition, resilience, and sportsmanship took center stage at our Sports Meet 2024, a high-energy event that brought together students from Grades PY3 to MY2. This milestone occasion was particularly special as it marked the first-ever Sports Meet for our Middle Years students, making it an unforgettable experience.
The event commenced with a grand March Past, a display of discipline, coordination, and team pride. Leading the charge was our Sports Captain, setting the tone for the day with unwavering confidence. The House Captains and Vice Captains marched alongside their contingents, their flags held high as they embodied the values of leadership and unity. The synchronized strides and determined expressions reflected the dedication of our young athletes, making for a truly inspiring spectacle.
While our Middle Years students approached the competition with great enthusiasm and determination, our younger athletes from Grades PY3 to PY5 brought an equally vibrant energy to the field. Their boundless excitement and fearless participation in events such as relay races and fun agility challenges made for thrilling moments. Their perseverance and sportsmanship were a reminder that every great athlete starts with a first race, a first finish line, and a first moment of triumph.
Adding to the festive spirit, our parent community joined in for a friendly yet fiercely contested Tug of War, reinforcing the sense of camaraderie and shared celebration of physical well-being. The cheers from the stands and the unwavering encouragement from peers and teachers made this more than just a sports event—it was a testament to our school’s belief in holistic development.
Beyond medals and podium finishes, the Sports Meet was a platform for students to discover their strengths, build resilience, and foster teamwork. It was a day filled with moments of triumph, determination, and unbreakable school spirit—one that will be remembered as a key milestone in our sporting journey, inspiring every student to push their limits and celebrate the joy of movement.

Anandam 2024 - The Truth Unmasked: A Fight Against Fake News
In a world flooded with misinformation, rumors, and manipulated narratives, The Truth Unmasked: A Fight Against Fake News brought the pressing issue of fake news to the stage as part of Anandam 2024. Students from Grades PY3 to MY2 took center stage in this thought-provoking production, engaging in deep inquiry, critical thinking, and reflective discussions on the consequences of unchecked information and the search for truth.
With a mix of humor, satire, and compelling storytelling, the plays Pandemonium in Pipal Nagar and Scandal in Fairyland offered an insightful take on how rumors spread and how media can shape perceptions. Pandemonium in Pipal Nagar, inspired by Ruskin Bond’s short story The Boy Who Broke the Bank, highlighted the ripple effect of misinformation in a small town, demonstrating how words can spark chaos. Meanwhile, Scandal in Fairyland, adapted from the works of renowned playwright Badal Sircar, examined how false narratives manipulate public opinion, urging audiences to question the truth they consume.
This production was more than just a theatrical showcase—it was an exercise in critical inquiry and responsible citizenship. Students actively explored the role of media, the impact of misinformation, and ethical responsibilities in the digital age. They developed communication skills, expressing complex ideas through performance; open-mindedness, by engaging with different perspectives on media influence; and reflective thinking, as they examined their role in discerning truth from fiction.
Through powerful performances, students delved into the complexities of modern-day media, raising essential questions—Who controls the truth? How easily do we fall for misinformation? And most importantly, how do we fight back against the tide of fake news?
By using theater as a medium for social commentary, The Truth Unmasked served as a reminder that truth must be sought, defended, and upheld—now more than ever. It was a testament to how education fosters informed, principled, and critically aware individuals who are ready to navigate an increasingly complex world.

From relay races and sprints to engaging obstacle courses, each event was designed to encourage participation, build confidence, and most importantly—create joyful memories.
One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was the march around the field, where our little champions proudly walked alongside their School Pupil Leaders, waving to their cheering families and showcasing their team spirit. The energy was contagious as students cheered for their peers, celebrating every effort and every little victory.
But it wasn’t just the students who took center stage—the event became even more special with the participation of enthusiastic parents! The Parent Races, including the much-loved Marble Race, added an extra layer of fun and camaraderie, as families joined in the excitement, making for unforgettable moments of laughter, encouragement, and friendly competition.
Beyond the races and games, the day was a reminder of the importance of staying active, embracing teamwork, and enjoying the spirit of healthy competition. It was incredible to see our young athletes give it their all, proving that sports is not just about winning—it’s about participation, perseverance, and enjoying the journey.

From ensuring smooth transitions between venues to reading out rules, managing time, assisting with meals, and creating a welcoming environment, our students truly rose to the occasion!
Looking Ahead
With such an inspiring debut, we are excited to make STEAMphony an annual tradition—continuing to empower students as leaders while fostering a love for STEAM learning in the larger community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making STEAMphony 2025 a resounding success!
