Rhea Chadha - Our Literary Virtuoso
Rhea Chadha Grade 9 of Shiv Nadar School Noida co-authored a book titled “Life as a Teacher” This book reminds children that not all learning happens in school. Getting good grades is important, but we should learn from all of our experiences. Rhea has opted for all proceeds from the sale of the book to go to the NGO Save the Children.
Rhea also participated in a program organized by the Compassionate Leaders Circle last year in collaboration with Learn With Leaders which had 39 high-school students from 9 countries. The program details and the process was published in a Forbes article (A Borderless And Boredom-Less Education Platform Inspires Teens When They Need It The Most). The students were paired and each student pair collaborated to write and illustrate a book (Project I). The students also individually worked on their soul projects (Project II). The article also features a link to a podcast where Rhea and the other 5 selected presenters talk about their soul projects. In her section of the podcast, Rhea sang her original composition “Deciding My Destiny”.

Partnership Series #3: Safe Return to School
The school has been buzzing with our children’s cacophony as they are back at school, starting afresh with the beginning of the new academic year. To ensure safe return to school for our children, teachers and support staff, the Leadership worked in the background to outline the SOPs and guidelines keeping in mind the ‘new normal’.
A Panel Discussion was organized across Shiv Nadar School campuses to share with our parents the COVID-19 prevention practices and introduce them to the Covid Response and Prevention Force. This central team was formed involving the school Leadership, our parents from the healthcare industry and parent partnership members across the three campuses. This robust team works closely together and is instrumental in guiding the school and parent community in making informed decisions.

Partnership Series #2 Reflect, Rethink, Rejuvenate: A Launchpad into Excellence
The second edition of the Partnership Series is based on how as an educational institution that aims to support the overall development of students, we have a responsibility to create a space that accepts all students and nurtures them.
We at Shiv Nadar School Noida designed the Launchpad programme for April and May with the aim of understanding and supporting the educational and socio-emotional needs of every learner. The intent is to enable every learner to take off on their pathway to excellence with confidence and a deep understanding of themselves, their needs and their desires. The panellists joined in a conversation where they shared their understanding of the situation and the design of the Launchpad programme and discussed how as a critical stakeholder each of them can participate and contribute.
Partnership Series #1 Taking the Pandemic by the Horns
Partnership Series is a platform where our educators along with representatives from the parent and student communities come together for a panel discussion. The topic of the discussion is from an array of subjects pertinent to the current global scenario. The stakeholders on the panel have a conversation and share their viewpoints. The parents and students are invited, they as the audience engage by putting their questions forth and learn from their discourse and interaction.
The topic of the first panel discussion in the series was ‘Taking the Pandemic by the Horns – Shiv Nadar School in its decennial year’. The pandemic brought profound changes in the way we had learnt to live our lives. The way education was imparted was also relooked at, within the confines of our homes. For us, the decennial year of Shiv Nadar School is an opportunity to reflect on the past to examine the possibilities that lie ahead. The discussion was on the reflective question of how and what we as a school did as a school. The panellists shared experiences and learnings from the pandemic and examined the possibilities that lie ahead and move on in a direction that keeps the learner's needs front and centre of our journey.
