Different Strokes

To the artist there is nothing ugly in nature. They have been created to create. The statement resonates for the Shiv Nadar School Teachers and Students .Our two teachers from Art Department exhibited their paintings at Kochi & South Korea.

Ms Veena Karki our art faculty participated in two International Art Fair held at Gwangju and Seoul in South Korea.It was great matter of pride for Veena Maam since her co participants were world famous artist like Takashi Murakami, Kusama Yayoi from Japan along with many reputed art galleries from different parts of the world  .

 Mr Sukesan kanka our Art teacher exhibited his paintings titled Returning Echo at Gallery 27 in Kochi .His paintings focused on variety of topics ranging from migration to the after effects of natural disaster and war. One of his work with floods as theme shows plastic bottles floating on the floodwater that received lot of appreciation from the art lovers.

Under the guidance of  mentor Mr Pradip  Duary   a student of grade II  exhibited his paintings titled  “Unlimited Sky” on the World Autism Day. Twenty Eight pieces of his painting were displayed. They were an eclectic mix of cityscapes, nature and bikes. He received adulation and appreciation from his peers and teachers.

Aarav Verma student of Grade VIII participated in the fifth edition of World Art Festival at Dubai. He was one of the youngest award winner in the competition as Emerging Artist of the Year. He started painting at the tender age of three. He has been exploring various medium and styles. As an artist, he is socially responsible, his painting were auctioned  to raise funds towards cancer treatment, flood relief in Kerala. He has raised close to 5 lakhs through his paintings for different causes. He also participated at the India Art Fair at New Delhi
