Carnival for Kindergarten and Nursery - PRG event
A day of masti, mazaa and celebrations was the carnival on 23rd Nov. 2019 at the Gurgaon School lawns.
The theme of this year’s milieu was a colourful ensemble of “The festivals of India”; Lohri and Pongal, Holi, Eid, Diwali and Christmas. The set-up for the festivals was at various stalls created with five elements, namely, festive décor, a game, crafts corner, food of the festival and performances/storytelling about the festival. Children enjoyed the various creatively designed games, indulged in the craft activities, sat in rapt attention through the storytelling, and participated along in the performances, all the while enjoying the yummylicious food prepared for them by the parents. The accompanying parents and grandparents, too, participated in all the fun and activities with great zeal and enthusiasm basking in the glorious autumn sun.
The beautiful “outdoor weather” was a blessing, not that the organisational skills of the PRG needed any.
An event that had the little ones creating joyous childhood memories and the adults re-living their memories.
