Sir Raman Science Innovation Award
We are delighted to share with you that Arin Chaudhary, a student of grade 7, Shiv Nadar School Noida, won the Sir Raman Science Innovation Award for the intermediate category. Arin has achieved this honour after competing with more than 1500 entries and being a part of a rigorous pan-Indian process of selection.
The jury for the award comprised eminent scientists from NASA, RRMI along with Sir CV Raman's grand-daughter Ms. Dominique Radhakrishnan. Arin has been awarded a winner certificate, a cheque of Rs. 20,000 and a Science Kit from Thinktac. We hope that this proves to be a stepping stone to greater innovation and achievements in future!
CSIR India's pan India competition on Innovative Ideas
Team Esplanade consisting of 4 students of Shiv Nadar school Gurgaon stood fifth in the All India Competition on Innovative Ideas which was conducted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research(CSIR) India. Their project “ Intelligent Traffic Light System” attempts to reduce fleet time by making the traffic lights responsive to real-time traffic intensity.
The students were awarded by Minister Of Science & Technology Dr. Harsh Vardhan and NITI Aayog member Mr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat in a ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on the 26th of September
Global Innovative School Awards 2018
Shiv Nadar School Noida honored with Global Innovative School Award 2018. The school was recognised for its exemplary performance across 5 areas- Impact, Academic Performance, Cultural Inclusion, Social Awareness and Use of Technology.
The award was recieved by the Principal Ms. Shashi Banerjee and Ms. Anju Soni at the Global Millenial Conference at BITS PILANI in Dubai.
