Road Safety Award - FICCI Safety Awards 2019
We are delighted to announce Shiv Nadar School Gurgaon was conferred with the "FICCI road safety award" for its excellence in road safety initiatives. We were awarded for educating and spreading awareness. amongst students, teachers and other staff members and also in implementing operational changes to ensure safety within its premises as well as outside the school. The Special Jury award under the category "Safety of Students in Transit. Traffic Management & Vigilancia was received by the student along with the operation Head and her team.
UNBOXED: Breaking Boundaries - Science and Tech Fair at Pathways School, Noida
We at Shiv Nadar Schools believe in preparing our children for the future by imparting the necessary 21st century skills. These skills are the set of abilities that our children need to succeed in this information age. Our every endevour is a step towards this commitment. Our Grade 4 students participated in a Science and Tech Fair at Pathways School, Noida - UNBOXED: Breaking Boundaries. The fair is dedicated to developing scientific temperament, resilience and collaboration. Our young scientists and engineers participated in competitions like creating a Rube Goldberg machine, Paper Circuits, Robotics and 3 D Modeling. We swell with pride at the brilliant display of creativity, innovation and problem solving skills by our children. They brought back the trophy for the ‘Overall Best School Participation’ and won 3 out of 4 competitions. A true demonstration of knowledge and skills!!
SHIV NADAR SCHOOL NOIDA @ ROBOCUP ASIA PACIFIC
RoboCup Asia-Pacific is an international robotics competition which inculcates the true values of engineering in its participants. Top teams from the Asia-Pacific and some other regions are invited to participate. Shiv Nadar School Noida represented India in the Junior League, Rescue Line category. The competition was held at Bauman Moscow State Technical University (Bauman, MSTU) in Moscow, Russia from November 6 -11, 2019.
There were eight rounds in the competition which became more challenging as the rounds progressed. The total score of the team is the additive of the 4 best rounds. We are delighted to share that our team 'System Overload’ secured the second position and had the most points scored in a single run. The other team 'Annihilators' from our School secured 10th position.
Champions @ Constitution Day Quiz
70th CONSTITUTION CONSTITUTION DAY QUIZ
On 26th November 1949, the Constitution Drafting Committee lead by Dr.B.R Ambedkar completed the legal framework, which is considered to be the backbone of modern India: The Constitution.
In honour of this 70th Constitution Day, a quiz was held at the School of Law at Ansal University. 24 teams from all around Delhi NCR participated in the event. Our school was represented by Shalv Srivastava and Aaryan Sridharan of Grade 11, who won the first prize.
24 teams who competed against each other in the first round, were tested for their general awareness. Out of the 24 teams, only 8 teams were selected for the second round of general awareness. 4 of the 8 teams made it to the final round which consisted of a rapid-fire round and a KBC style multiple choice round. The questions were based on Indian politics and the Constitution.
The participants enjoyed the quiz and became more aware and knowledgeable about the Indian political framework.
Bronze in Badminton
Aumkaran won the bronze medal in the 33rd Sub Juniors Badminton Nationals, Bhagalpur, Bihar.
The Under 13 Boys championship was held from the 6th to the 10th of November 2019. There were over 150 participants from different states of India. In Aumkaran’s category, there were 75 participants. Aumkaran won all his matches until the quarterfinals and lost to the rank no 1 in the semifinals.

U-10 Football Team Won
U-10 football team defeated RSA Crushers (Delhi Football team) in the finals by the score of 4-0 in 8th RSA Football Tournament held at Tyagraj stadium New Delhi.

All India Invitational Badminton Tournament
Aumkaran of Grade VIII won the Silver Medal at All India Junior Badminton championship which was held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. 20 participants qualified from all over India for the championship. The All India 6th Ranker received his medal from the world Champion P V Sindhu.
The Shree Debate - 2019
Three students from Middle school participated in a debate competition in Shri Ram School Aravali on 14th August 2019. Participants from 8 schools took part in this Hindi debate. Akshita Agrawal from our school secured the title of The Best Speaker. She spoke against the motion and the topic was- ' Desh bhakti desh me rehkar hi dikhai jaa sakti hai'.
