Daksh Malik the Literary Virtuoso
Daksh Malik of Grade 5 is a literary virtuoso and has won many accolades during this year, making his school and the teachers proud.
Daksh was announced a Winner of National Challenge Round of Katha Utsav 2020. During his participation he had the opportunity to meet India's best literary professionals and was mentored by them along with other selected students on different aspects of creative writing.
Representing Shiv Nadar School Noida in the English Olympiad organised by International Society for Olympiad (ISFO), he secured 2nd Rank in the State, winning a Silver Medal. He put another feather in his cap when his poem titled ‘Another Galaxy’ got published in Robinage Newspaper and selected for display on Wall of Fame on their website.
Daksh has been steadily expressing his thoughts and feelings through his writings. His story - Once Upon a Time’, a thriller on Time Space Continuum won him the second prize in Weave your story Contest. The contest was organised by Lynkube and judged by senior author, journalist and columnist Sharmilla Chand.
His participation in Holiday Season 2020 International Corona Multimedia Showcase won him Certificate of Appreciation by NW Centre of Excellence in Media Literacy, University of Washington. The project he submitted has helped to create a wonderful display of diverse entries representing the activities as well as the hopes, dreams, thoughts and feelings of young people during the most extraordinary holiday season celebrated during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under-14 Cricket Tournament Match Award

Gurtej Singh student of Grade 5-Gir has won the Best Batsman and Hitter of the Match Award in Clash of Talents Under-14 Tournament Match.
MIT App Inventor: App of the Month by PRANET PAHWA

9 year old 5th grader Pranet created this versatile app to help patients to find the best solution for their healthcare needs under a common platform. Pranet Pahwa has been recognised by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA as they have selected his App XDOC+ the winner for MIT App of the month. XDOC+ is the platform through which the general public can know about various medical specialties and the key doctors across various specialities all under one roof.

Achievements in Joie de vivre S4 Cultural Festival by Senior School Students

The senior school students of Shiv Nadar Noida participated in the inter-school cultural festival - Joie de Vivre. Chickar International School (CIS) and the Institute for Career Studies (ICS) organised Season 4 of their signature Joie de Vivre festival which was conducted online.
The festival provided the students a unique platform to display their innate talent in the areas of design thinking, social awareness, team spirit and creativity under different categories.
The students from the Noida campus won the following positions and made us proud.

Aarya Mahapatra - second position in Solo Dancing.

Our Budding Scientist, Kshitij Goel

It's time to celebrate the achievement of our Budding Scientist, Kshitij Goel of grade 4, who has done us proud again with his yet another innovation in the field of Science.
NXP India, the largest R&D center of NXP Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd, conducted the Young Innovators Challenge back in August to challenge young minds to put their creativity and innovation to the around this year’s theme – ‘Let’s Fight COVID19 together’.
Kshitij, was the youngest innovator at the event and bagged the Special Jury Innovation Award as well as Audience Choice award in the junior category.
He came up with a breathing device ‘Sanjeevani, an automated bag valve mask that can act as a provisional ventilator machine for people suffering from acute respiratory diseases like Covid-19. It is basically a low cost ventilator which is relevant to the current pandemic.

National Design Championship runner up -2020

At the Design Championship - Devasya Sharma, Gr.8 was the runner up at the National level. He had to design a game on 'Underwater'
In the Regionals, he had secured the first position with his game on saving wild animals.
Ideate ,Create, Innovate – IRIS 2019

We are proud to announce, Om Shalat of Grade XII participated in the IRIS 2019 at Bangalore. The project” Aarambh “was selected to represent India in the International Science Engineering Fair to be held in the USA.
The project was based on Artificial Intelligence Traffic Light System which would reduce fleet time and reduce air pollution.
The IRIS National Fair promotes and Nurtures science and scientific research among young innovators. It recognizes and rewards outstanding project The winning students are provided with a platform to represent India at the International Science and Engineering Fair, the world’s largest International Pre-College science competition held annually at Washington DC
IGBC Green Schools Certification - Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad

Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad has achieved the platinum certification in green building standards required under the IGBC Green schools rating system.
The school is awarded with 93 points which are close to the highest in school building rating system.

Painting of Samya Arora Grade 8 Gir has been selected and incorporated in the ‘Collage Page’ of the Institute of Career Studies 2020 calendar.
She participated in the tenth International Painting Competition 2019 which received an overwhelming response of 475 paintings from 100 schools across India, Middle East, Bangladesh and South Asia.
