Champion in the Making: Aruj's Story in Skating and Chess

Aruj Sahai student of Grade 1 ‘Kanha', has been honing his skills in both skating and chess since the tender age of 4.5 years. His dedication and hard work are now bearing fruit as he continues to achieve remarkable feats in both disciplines.

In the realm of skating, Aruj's recent triumphs have been particularly noteworthy. On December 3, 2023, he clinched the Silver Medal in the 7th Haryana Ice Skating Championship at the State level, securing a spot in the prestigious 'Nationals' in the Speed Skating category for 6-8 years. This success follows his earlier Gold Medal victory in the Faridabad Ice Skating Championship on November 26, 2023, at the District level, earning him qualification for the State competition.

Aruj's prowess extends to roller skating as well. His stellar performance in the 36th District Roller Skating Championship in Faridabad on October 28, 2023, where he won two Gold Medals, showcased his excellence in the Inline Speed category for 5-7 years. This achievement propelled him to the State level. Notably, his success is not confined to the district, as demonstrated by his dual Silver Medal win in the 1st Haryana State Open Zonal Roller Skating Championship on October 2, 2023.

In the realm of chess, Aruj has also demonstrated his strategic acumen. His recent achievements include securing the 3rd position in the 4th Genius Chess Tournament in Ghaziabad and attaining the 2nd position in the 16th District Inter-School Chess tournament in Faridabad. Even earlier, on September 15, 2023, he finished 6th out of 21 participants in the District Chess Championship in the category of 5-7 years.

Aruj's multifaceted success in both skating and chess not only reflects his individual talent but also underscores his potential to make a mark at the national level. His journey is a testament to the early nurturing of his skills and his unwavering commitment to excellence.
