The Editorial Board of Shiv Nadar School, Noida organized its 9th edition of the Spoken Word. Over 150 young poets across 15+ schools registered for the event. The Spoken Word is a space to display their creativity and passion through poetry. The Allegories is a compilation of the poems submitted and performed in the Spoken Word. The Network, July 2021

The 7th edition of The Network kindles the world of fantasy. The students through this edition have tried to highlight that fantasy is not only a way to cope with reality today but a place for reflection and comfort. A place that we can never outgrow. Each book and film in this edition is a tribute to that one piece of us that can never part with this comfort.

Congratulations Avviraaj Kalia
Avviraaj Kalia of Grade 1 was placed 'Winner' in the 22nd Greens to Glory Junior Golf Tournamnet held at Classic Golf and Country Club in the age category E (8 years and below).
He previously secured 1st Position in the Champion of Champions Tournament by Acegolfindia held on 22nd July at Jaypee Greens Noida.

E Pluribus Unum - which means "One out of many" or "One from many" is an e-magazine with articles by the students of grades 9 to 12 of Shiv Nadar Schools of all the three campuses. National Coding Olympiad - IIT Bhubaneswar
Pranet Pahwag of Grade 5 has been recognised by IIT Bhubaneswar and Super Teacher.
He has secured Second position in Pan India at the National Coding Olympiad (Junior) 2020-21.
He received the Merit Certificate, Rs. 3,000 Scholarship and Rs. 5,000 prize money.

Energy Boot Camp

Students worked on Nuclear and Climate Change. A team of 3 of our students presented a project on the working of a Nuclear Reactor, and stood 4th among 15 teams from Shiv Nadar Schools and Vidyagyan Schools. Saachi Gupta – Grade 6, Arnav Balyan – Grade 8 , Dhruva Vujayvargia – Grade 9
Shiv Nadar School, in association with Indian Youth Nuclear Society, organised the Energy Boot Camp from November 6 - 8, 2020. The three-day Boot Camp featured interactive sessions related to Nuclear Energy, Climate change and Sustainability for students to make them more aware about energy and the environment.
The preliminary phase of Energy Boot Camp commenced from October 6, 2020. During this phase, the students from the participating schools competed in the Creative activities, Interactive Experiment sessions and the Inter-School Competitions. Swinzal Taneja of our school was among the winners in multiple Individual competitions such as painting, rap song and poem and slogans and taglines. Maira Sikka was among the winners in the painting competition, and Aayana Aggarwal was one of the winners in the Memes and cartoons category.
There was an Inter-School Competition with multiple rounds consisting of Energy quiz, Public interaction through video making and technical group project. Our school team consisting of Arnav Balyan, Dhruva Vijayvargia and Saachi Gupta (mentored by the Physics teacher Ms. Megha Bohra and the nuclear scientist Ms. Mudra Chavda), qualified among 15 teams to compete in the Finale. In the finale, they presented their group project to eminent Nuclear Scientists and also participated in the ‘Youth Parliament’ along with the eminent experts and panelists from various fields. They stood 3rd runners up in the competition.

1st Runner up in 1st Attempt - Safe Bench

– 1 Runner up in 1 Attempt: Grade 10 designed a project named "SAFE". It is a Self - Sanitising Automatic Futuristic Effortless bench. Aims to solve sanitized seating arrangement in public spaces.
olloquium is project based learning challenges aimed to solve a real world problem. The teams apply tech learning to solve these challenges. It not only displays the technology skills gained through different tech baskets offered at School but also harnesses entrepreneurial skills in students. Thus, offers enriching learning experience to students. Our Grade 10 students explored these projects for the first time. One team of Grade 10 came up with the project named "SAFE".
SAFE is a Self-sanitising Automatic Futuristic Effortless bench aiming to solve the sitting problem as it’s the most basic activities which has become a huge hassle and a danger to health due to pandemic. With the rapid increase of diseases to be seen, this bench can also contribute significantly in the future to combat other communicable diseases and create an overall clean environment. It focusses to solve the close contact and sanitising problem especially in the older people and children as they face more significant risk due to their weaker immune system.
