MIT App Inventor: App of the Month by PRANET PAHWA

9 year old 5th grader Pranet created this versatile app to help patients to find the best solution for their healthcare needs under a common platform. Pranet Pahwa has been recognised by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA as they have selected his App XDOC+ the winner for MIT App of the month. XDOC+ is the platform through which the general public can know about various medical specialties and the key doctors across various specialities all under one roof.

Our Budding Scientist, Kshitij Goel

It's time to celebrate the achievement of our Budding Scientist, Kshitij Goel of grade 4, who has done us proud again with his yet another innovation in the field of Science.
NXP India, the largest R&D center of NXP Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd, conducted the Young Innovators Challenge back in August to challenge young minds to put their creativity and innovation to the around this year’s theme – ‘Let’s Fight COVID19 together’.
Kshitij, was the youngest innovator at the event and bagged the Special Jury Innovation Award as well as Audience Choice award in the junior category.
He came up with a breathing device ‘Sanjeevani, an automated bag valve mask that can act as a provisional ventilator machine for people suffering from acute respiratory diseases like Covid-19. It is basically a low cost ventilator which is relevant to the current pandemic.

District Under-10 Chess Tournament

Aarav Balyan 4 Sariska has secured Second Position in District Under-10 Chess Tournament scheduled on 20th and 21st July. 50 Schools participated in tthe Tournament.
Our Young Champions: Basketball - Under 14 (Girls)

Shiv Nadar School, FBD hosted its very first Under 14 Girls (Sub Junior) District Basketball Championship on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th July, 2019 organized by the Basketball Federation of India.
A total of 11 teams participated in this tournament:

We won the finals against St. Anthony’s Secondary School with a scorecard of 35 – 8. Suhana Gupta was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player and Paavani Goel as the Most Promising Player. We played against DAV- Sector 14 in the qualifying round (Score: 24- 10) and against Bansi Vidya Niketan in the Semi-Finals (Score: 48 – 16).

It was delightful to watch our young scholars play with complete dedication and true sportsmanship. The atmosphere was electric with the cheers of the students, parents and the enthusiasm of the participants. Faridabad District Chess Tournament
Aarush Sharma of 3 Gir secured Second Position (in Under 9 category) in Faridabad District Chess Tournament held on 27th - 28th April in Surajkund International school.
‘Outstanding Performance’ in ASSET Winter Round

3 students of Grade 6 of Shiv Nadar School , Faridabad made the school proud by getting certificate of ‘Outstanding Performance’ in ASSET Winter Round. The ‘Outstanding Performance certificates’ are given to Top 1% students per class countrywide.
Agastya Iyer bagged the certificate in English, Math and Science and also certificate of outstanding performance for overall performance in ASSET. Krishiv and Kanav also bagged the certificate for their performance in Mathematics.
