MIT App Inventor: App of the Month by PRANET PAHWA
9 year old 5th grader Pranet created this versatile app to help patients to find the best solution for their healthcare needs under a common platform. Pranet Pahwa has been recognised by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA as they have selected his App XDOC+ the winner for MIT App of the month. XDOC+ is the platform through which the general public can know about various medical specialties and the key doctors across various specialities all under one roof.

Our Budding Scientist, Kshitij Goel
It's time to celebrate the achievement of our Budding Scientist, Kshitij Goel of grade 4, who has done us proud again with his yet another innovation in the field of Science.
NXP India, the largest R&D center of NXP Semiconductors Pvt. Ltd, conducted the Young Innovators Challenge back in August to challenge young minds to put their creativity and innovation to the around this year’s theme – ‘Let’s Fight COVID19 together’.
Kshitij, was the youngest innovator at the event and bagged the Special Jury Innovation Award as well as Audience Choice award in the junior category.
He came up with a breathing device ‘Sanjeevani, an automated bag valve mask that can act as a provisional ventilator machine for people suffering from acute respiratory diseases like Covid-19. It is basically a low cost ventilator which is relevant to the current pandemic.

UNBOXED: Breaking Boundaries - Science and Tech Fair at Pathways School, Noida
We at Shiv Nadar Schools believe in preparing our children for the future by imparting the necessary 21st century skills. These skills are the set of abilities that our children need to succeed in this information age. Our every endevour is a step towards this commitment. Our Grade 4 students participated in a Science and Tech Fair at Pathways School, Noida - UNBOXED: Breaking Boundaries. The fair is dedicated to developing scientific temperament, resilience and collaboration. Our young scientists and engineers participated in competitions like creating a Rube Goldberg machine, Paper Circuits, Robotics and 3 D Modeling. We swell with pride at the brilliant display of creativity, innovation and problem solving skills by our children. They brought back the trophy for the ‘Overall Best School Participation’ and won 3 out of 4 competitions. A true demonstration of knowledge and skills!!

District Under-10 Chess Tournament
Aarav Balyan 4 Sariska has secured Second Position in District Under-10 Chess Tournament scheduled on 20th and 21st July. 50 Schools participated in tthe Tournament.
Our Young Champions: Basketball - Under 14 (Girls)
Shiv Nadar School, FBD hosted its very first Under 14 Girls (Sub Junior) District Basketball Championship on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th July, 2019 organized by the Basketball Federation of India.
A total of 11 teams participated in this tournament:

We won the finals against St. Anthony’s Secondary School with a scorecard of 35 – 8. Suhana Gupta was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player and Paavani Goel as the Most Promising Player. We played against DAV- Sector 14 in the qualifying round (Score: 24- 10) and against Bansi Vidya Niketan in the Semi-Finals (Score: 48 – 16).

It was delightful to watch our young scholars play with complete dedication and true sportsmanship. The atmosphere was electric with the cheers of the students, parents and the enthusiasm of the participants. Kudos to our coaches Mr. Jagdev Singh and Ms. Raspreet Sidhu for there constant support and guidance to children to put their best game forward. Congratulations!
Faridabad District Chess Tournament
Aarush Sharma of 3 Gir secured Second Position (in Under 9 category) in Faridabad District Chess Tournament held on 27th - 28th April in Surajkund International school.
Inter School Skating Competition
Maira Sikka of 3 Sariska, secured Second Position in the Inter School Skating Competition held at Modern School, Greater Faridabad. She was awarded with a Silver medal and a Certificate.
DELF Certification
DELF (Diplome d' Etudes en Langue Francaise)
DELF Diplomas are awarded by Institut Français, Inde for various levels of proficiency in the French Language, namely A1, A2, B1 and B2. These diplomas are recognised internationally. 11 students of Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon appeared for the DELF Junior A1 exam, conducted in DPS, Gurgaon in July 2018 and all of them have cleared it with flying colours.
ASIAN REGIONAL SPACE SETTLEMENT DESIGN COMPETITION 2019.
Shiv Nadar School Noida grabbed The Runner Up trophy in an international competition ASIAN REGIONAL SPACE SETTLEMENT DESIGN COMPETITION 2019.
A group of 12 students from grade 9,10 and 11 participated from Our school. There were 350 student participants from India and other asian countries. The eminent judges were from NASA .
