Tavish Pahwa Shines in National and International Tennis Championships

Tavish Pahwa, a Grade 8 student from Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, has achieved remarkable success in the tennis world. In May, Tavish won both the Singles and Doubles titles at the U-16 Clay Court National Championship in Kolhapur. Not stopping there, he also secured the Singles and Doubles titles at the U-14 Asian Grade A Championship in Hyderabad the same month.
Currently ranked 3rd in the Asian Under-14 category by the ATF (Asian Tennis Federation), Tavish is a proud member of the Grand Slam Player Development Programme of the International and Asian Tennis Federation (GSPDP/ITF/ATF). This prestigious program has given him the opportunity to represent Asia at the Tennis Europe tournaments in July and August. During this period, he will compete in three tournaments in France and one in Germany.
Adding to his impressive achievements, Tavish will also represent India at the World Junior Tennis Championship in Prostejov, Czechia, from August 5th to 10th. India's qualification for this prestigious event marks a significant milestone, as it is the first time in five years the team has reached this stage, thanks to their outstanding performance at the Asia Oceania qualifying round in March.

Avisha Arya's Remarkable Achievements in Chess

Avisha Arya from 2 Gir, Shiv Nadar School Faridabad, has made the school proud with her outstanding performance in chess at both state and inter-school levels. Avisha secured the 6th position in the Haryana State Chess Championship held in Gurgaon from May 28th to May 30th, 2024, earning a medal for her commendable efforts. Demonstrating her exceptional skills, Avisha also participated in the Board Masters Chess Tournament at The Millennium School Noida on July 7th, 2024. She impressively clinched the 3rd position, winning a trophy, medal, and certificate. Furthermore, Avisha was honored with an additional trophy for being the youngest player in the tournament. Her achievements reflect her dedication and passion for chess, setting a remarkable example for her peers. The school community celebrates Avisha's accomplishments and looks forward to her future successes in the world of chess.
Kanav Nagpal Excels in International Euclid Mathematics Contest

We are proud to announce that Kanav Nagpal from Grade 12 has achieved remarkable success in the prestigious Euclid Mathematics Contest, conducted by The Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing (CEMC) at the University of Waterloo. This international-level contest challenges senior secondary students with complex and novel mathematical problems, requiring creativity and comprehensive knowledge. Kanav's exceptional performance, scoring 72%, surpasses the distinction criteria of 70%, earning him a Certificate of Distinction and a medal.
The Euclid contest's mix of short-answer and full-solution questions allows participants to effectively communicate their mathematical thinking and build perseverance, a key component of problem-solving. Kanav's accomplishment not only highlights his mathematical prowess but also makes him eligible for the Faculty of Mathematics Entrance Scholarships at the University of Waterloo. Ruhaan Taneja, a Grade 2 student at Shiv Nadar School, Faridabad, continues to impress the chess community with his outstanding performances. On February 9, 2025, he secured 1st place in the Under-8 Boys category at the 5th Study Isle Chess Tournament held in Faridabad. Celebrating Maira Verma's Fencing Triumphs!

Maira Verma from Grade 4, Gir won a Bronze Medal in the under-10 Girls National Fencing Championship held in Odisha on June 17, 2024. Prior to this, she clinched a Gold Medal in the under-10 Girls State Level Championship (Delhi NCR) on May 26, 2024. Her dedication, hard work, and passion for fencing have truly paid off.

Shiv Nadar School Faridabad Students Selected for Prestigious International Internship

We are proud to announce that our Grade 12 IBDP Shiv Nadar School Faridabad students, Hrit Gupta and Raghav Garg, have been selected for the Indian Youth Nuclear Society’s prestigious International Internship Program. They will intern at the ITER Organisation in France, a leading energy project focused on demonstrating the feasibility of fusion power as a large-scale, carbon-free energy source.
During their internship, Hrit and Raghav will explore Virtual Reality Engineering and Diagnostics Technology, mentored by top experts. This experience will enrich their understanding of global collaboration, clean energy, and advanced technology, paving the way for their future successes.

Our Grade XI IBDP student, Divyam Tayal, achieved remarkable success at ThinkStartup's U18 Launchpad, an elite entrepreneurship program for high school students held at IIT Delhi in June 2024. This program is known for its rigorous selection process and the opportunity it provides students to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in India.
Divyam secured the first position in the competition with his groundbreaking project, "BOTICARM." This innovative project involves the development of an advanced AI-powered prosthetic arm that features voice control and neural sensory integration. BOTICARM is designed to significantly improve the quality of life for individuals with limb differences by offering them a smart, intuitive prosthetic solution.
Kiara Gera Shines at National Kickboxing Championship 2024

Kiara Gera from 3 Kanha represented Haryana in the National Kickboxing Championship - Children and Cadets 2024 held in Pune from May 21-26. She participated in three events and won a Bronze Medal in the Kick Light event and a Silver Medal in the Team-Point Fight event.
